early access: "Kitten"-let's go camping! pt6 (Patreon)

Thank you so much for your patience. Here is this week's early access and...I'm really happy how it turned out.

Biggest issue I have with this arc is really the forest. I not only have to paint it from scratch (although I do use pattern brushes as you might can tell) but I also have to do color and lighting correction to ensure right atmosphere and all the backgrounds matching .

On top of that, for this episode I had my husband ink the monster (his name is Grim, by the way....very fitting ;P). So we had to organize my schedule around Hubby and 'Gal-Axy', hence everything got done a little late this time ^^"

Grim's design was partial inspired by monster point Chopper from 'One Piece'. Not intentionally, but when I described Grim to my hubby,-with the antlers, the white eyes, mouth agape and the fact that he's covered in fur, he basically pointed out that's just Chopper....as a giant cat man XD

(I'm proud to say that 'One Piece' has such a lasting impact with me and my art, even though I don't follow it anymore. But it was such a cool reading experience as child and I'm happy people still find joy in that series ^^)

As a little reward for the wait, have a bonus doodle. after all, hubby felt this scene needs a bit of a...light hearted touch. enjoy ^^

next episode should be up in time again, at least I don't think it will be as tricky as this one ^^
