I was shopping...for new paper...and it arrived in the past days. Yay! :D

We actually planned to buy more paper next year when our current stock is exhausted. But due to a nice sale at 'Dick Blick' in the past weeks we thought we might as well order it now.

200 sheets, each will hold up to four strips (or two Sundays without the intro tier). Together with the paper we have left it should add up to roughly 1000 strips. Wohoo!!! It's a little risky to buy that much in one go but...well...I'm a bit of a penny pincher myself and hate to waste things (before you ask, no, I'm not as bad as Sedine's mom tho XD). I thought it was kinda necessary to order as much as possible to keep myself motivated in drawing. Because, you know, the paper is here now, and in some ways I feel obligated to keep going...I guess that's a good thing :)

This time we purchased a paper which is a bit thinner than the previous one.  On the positive side, it was cheaper and it's really smooooooth <3 We were a bit worried the ink wouldn't react too well on it. But after a couple test tries everything works quite well.

Once again, thanks for your support. It's honestly due to you that this project only costs me time but won't rip a huge hole into my budget. I will do my best to keep producing and to entertain you :D

Also, I'll probably draw a couple of the requests, which are still open, on that new paper too. So, stay tuned :)

So far I've never bought drawing paper that I didn't eventually use! I'm really happy you are getting some support, and I'm happy to support you.

Thanks :) I wasted a lot of paper, mostly because I eventually found better paper and stopped using the other one XD Ok, I can't do it in this case (and I don't think it's necessary) But back then, when I drew mostly illustrations with makers and watercolor I was always on the search for the most suitable paper :> And I'm also happy that people see that much value in my work to support us (thanks to you too ;3;)
