Anyway, this might sound morbid as hell, but I had a lot of fun drawing this episode, despite some challenging panels. But the action, the color scheme shifting from somber blue to hellish red. I don't get to do serious scene like this often. So it was quite a welcoming change of pace (remember, all of this started as a cutesy camping arc XD)

Also, now hopefully this scene from 'Katzen' makes more sense because....can you blame Walter for getting nightmares after having this lady smash him head first into the floor?

Also, I'm super happy how some of you guys correctly pointed out that Walter is lying here. Dallas isn't dead and Wally very well 'met the girl' (Maybell). After all, we literally see a flashback of them interacting in 'Katzen' and I drew the two together plenty of time.

And even if you lack that context, proof of his lie is in the comic itself. After all, he wears her bracelet.

to be fair, I'm derailing myself a little bit because all this lore belongs more into 'Katzen-Jammer!' and less into 'Kitten'. But it's kinda cool that I got the chance to portray this scene way before we hit the finale of 'Katzen' (trust me, all of this will be relevant in a couple years, lol). I mean, I wrote this story years ago....and some of these doodles date as far back as 2021.

About time we get to draw more lucky cats XD
