My husband said this was a nothing burger of an episode....and some might agree with him. However...I think this is quite scary. Lol

Actually, in all fairness, this one probably feels really short since there is so little dialogue going on. But see it from my side....I still had to draw all those panels TAT

When it comes to the writing, I actually really like this scene overall. 'Kitten' might be a humor comic and I'm not sure how deep the story really is. But I kinda wanted to get the stakes as high as possible for this scene and....a hairy wild man who probably holds as world record for his height being mad at you sounds pretty scary if you ask me ^^

Hope you like the update. we are nearing the finale of this arc. Yay!

Also, kudos to our girl here who was still willing throwing hands in the end.

Listen to the man...beast, mino. Maybe he'll lay down his arms if you lay down yours first.

Duke of Derp

Lifts his hand displaying the tie on his finger as he says "hurt". Who damaged this sweet boy?

This is Rupert from the future where Mino didn't change. He ends up marrying Viola and the two spend many years happily married. But Rupert will always have a broken piece of his heart yearn for Mino. However, Rupert and Viola are later abducted and experimented on by aliens, fusing them into one being and turn them feral. They eventually became too much to contain, breaking free and running amok. An explosion of the wormhole drive sent them back to the forest in the past.

I can see Mr. H's point, however, I feel like this is a deep thought episode. I mean... why are you like this? Like what? Terrified? Or does he mean, why are you always fearful of what you want most? Or even, why do you dump on those closest to you to maintain your aloofness? Moreover the you should stop before you get hurt is either a serious threat, or sagely advice -- predators prey upon the fearful, so put the big girl panties on or else. OR... stop denying your heart before your target of affection stops hoping and moves on. In short, this works on many levels, and is part of why this is such an endearing and entertaining comic strip. Clochi has spoken.

Definitely a scary one. <3

Nothing burger?! I beg to differ. Everything builds to something. Didn’t we learn that from One Piece? It’s all important. Looks great too. Seems like he had an injury that someone took the time to bandage.

I was thinking that he asked why she's like this because she was being kind of mean to him
