I think I mentioned it in the comment section already, but Sedine is wearing the same shorts she wears in the end of the Clo-Chi arc...that should make you wonder did she gain some (fortunate) weight or is Sam's memories off after all? ;)

There were a few things which never made it into this arc. For example I thought that Sam suffers insomnia which makes him always look tired and caused those dark circles under his eyes. It also explains that she brings him energy drinks, after all he looks tired to her too :)

I had a scene in my head in which, after he returns from work in the morning, she awaits him in his bed-trying to be all sexy and seductive. 

Well, he bitches at her and collapses right next to her, finally able to fall asleep. I thought it would be a cute scene showing that he's finally able to find rest due to her being close to him.

But my husband thought it might be a bit too edgy and sexual...so I dropped that idea. Just the energy drinks and the dark circles are what remained ^^"

I dunno I would have loved to see that first idea, without considering it the raciest thing on the strip. After all you've portrayed Sam being physically on top of Sedine while they were in bed...O_O I thought it would have been funny if Sedine came up with the idea of having a carpet delievered to Sam with her rolled up inside, a reference to Antony and Cleopatra, whom I can assume is an idol to Sedine. ;)

There’s an episode of - of all things - “The Flintstones,” where everyone mistakenly thinks that Fred has come down with some rare disease that necessitates keeping him awake for 48 hours or so to cure it. Seeing the lengths his friends and family go to is pretty hilarious, and the story ends happily, with Fred finally being allowed to doze off, so I can totally get behind that alternate ending of yours. 💖

Maybe I add it later to some other arc, now with your blessing :) (my husband’s concern was more based on the two characters not being married or even properly dating. Although I think in nowadays it’s not as scandalous as it used to be. However, I do side with him on the fact that they weren’t proper lovers yet (Sedine is, Sam just endures her at this point). So it would be a bit...edgy I think ^^”)
