I have to admit, I was a bit nervous about this strip. I thought I would face some sort of backlash when I portrait the girlfriend Sedine cleaning up Sam's dirt....luckily nothing has happened in that matter *phew*

Granted, it would've been a lot cuter if they both would've clean up Sam's messi life, but that would've defeated kinda my thought behind this strip here.

Lo and behold for some wacky symbolism :P

No matter who I ever visited I never saw a dirty toilette! (well, except on truck stops and train stations....but that's a different story)

Even if an apartment is a total mess, (most) people still make sure that their toilettes are fairly clean in case they get visitors. After all, moldy left overs in your sink is one thing, but you don't want people to see certain left overs in other places (I hope you are not eating while reading this XD)

The only reason not to care about that anymore is when your social life is so dead that nobody but you will use your bathroom...and in lotta cases your own dirt doesn't bother you anymore at this point anyway(I think XD)

Sam's toilette was dirty! Disgustingly dirty I'd say, because he was just on his own and didn't care about anything. I mean, just look at his hair for once :P

With Sedine cleaning it I wanted to portray that she puts back together his social life (or at least attempts to)

It's probably really far fetched and so far nobody connected the dots...but that as basically our main thought behind this strip.

She drags him out of his shell, tries to have fun with him and picks up the pieces of his existence ^^

Nothing wrong with depicting Sedine as a loving and devoted "girlfriend", I only wish she used that energy on a man who deserved it more than Sam, who knows maybe she would have fallen for Hank if she met him first. Of course only you would know that. ;)
