I hope you don't mind me dropping all three WIPs into one post (if you have troubles viewing it, please let me know and I upload the other two entries in a separate entry)

These three strips were originally planned as a Sunday comic. But one one side the idea was really difficult to put into the Sunday format, we also thought we are plastering too much Hubbs and Al at the audience within a too small amount of time. I mean, we would've had three Sundays with those two in a row. And that might be a bit too pushy (although the opinions about these two are either 'love them' or 'enough already' XD)

I was aiming for a more wholesome idea here (which started with a rather negative twist). I also thought it was important to reinforce that Hubbs is still after Ellie and didn't forget about her (while teasing the audience with him bringing Al to Chix-n-Wings.

I admit, I would've preferred to have this as a Sunday comic outside of the storyline (which was kinda a melting pot of ideas and not really a story imho)

Btw, did anyone noticed that technically the two of them were switching seats? ;) (it was an accident but by the time we noticed we couldn't correct it anymore ^^")

To quote the coding profession "it is not a bug, it is a feature". Obviously Hubbs wanted to switch seats with Al so that he could look for Ellie on the other side of the restaurant. Lol 🤣. Any way, did any of Ellie's co-workers potentially recognize her as Al? It kind of just occurred to me that we have not seen much about Ellie's co-workers.

I don't see the seat switch. If you're looking through the window, she's on the right in each strip. I assume we're looking through the window in the bottom two. What am I missing?
