Aaaand back to the ignorance.

I totally feel Charlene here. I prefer not to talk to people that I'm drawing comics (or that I aim for turning this into my main career). The reason is...THIS!!!! Just THIS!

Seriously, people either start talking about that they can do that too or that the classmate of their eight year old is also doing the exact same thing like I do. I know people don't want to be jerks (and I don't see them as such) but...it is quite humiliating to have your work and efforts compared to the school doodles of a 8 year old ._."

But then again, it's not like I choose to do this in the first place, right <,<

(...I wish I had a grumpy baby that can stare my opponents down btw)

Charlene i wearing a denim dress, btw. I saw one like this with roses embroidered on it. It was so cute but yet casual. Sadly I couldn't take over the roses because it would've been too many details ^^

When people dismiss the arts as "non-essential", I generally look at them and ask if they'd prefer to live in a concrete block house with bare walls, wear grey shapeless sacks, and never hear music. I can empathize with you, I'm a creative person who gets really tired of hearing how much easier it would be to just buy the things I make from a store.

Uh-oh. Someone’s in trouble!

Totally true. But you and I both know, we have users and makers. I sometimes wonder how some people would survive if you cut the power off.
