Japanese are masters at making plastic (or wax) food. Restaurants display the "food" they serve in their windows. It's handy for foreigners as they can simply point to the model of the food they want to order. :o)

Yeah, I saw a video how they made those displays. There were people in the comments who thought those were actual dishes o.o” But they do look convincing. :)
