Monkey Punch! WIP (Patreon)

Well, I already mentioned that I'm short of many WIPs. This arc is unfortunately affected by that too....although it was fun to draw it.

I wanted to use a more angular style on Hubbs and make him kinda look like the Hulk. Apparently it was pointed out that he does not only look scary but also aged...well, that's what anger does to you, it ages you prematurely.

It was fun drawing him that way, especially his teeth (although they are not 100% accurate ^^") Also, I'm not sure if people noticed, but in the last two strips (which are shown here) Hubbs morphes slowly back into his old design. On top of that, in the beginning of the arc he had ripped jeans....which are now repaired again. I swear, that's not an excuse but well intended. Hubbs is not the bad boy who suits the ripped jeans style.    But I felt it would suit his raging persona. While, once he's back to normal, so are his pants. Not sure if you guys are buying it, but that was essential my thought behind this ^^

The print on his shirt says 'Bread inside' as reference to 'dead inside', with a slice of white bread that looks like a skull. Sadly, the shirt was never fully shown (and I don't have a scan of it at hand atm +0+
