....to be fair, calling them 'competitive conversations' does take the edge off a bit, imo :P

When writing this strip I needed a silly reason for Sam and Sedine to fight. so...I took the whole 'Hotdog-Sandwich' meme. and in order to get some good dialogue I plainly asked my husband if a hot dog is a sandwich and..., no joke, he immediately flew into this huge rant why a hot dog is a sandwich XD...Guess someone had some strong opinions about that. lol

Either way...is a taco also a sandwich?

In my opinion.....I have no idea😅. But good timing. I actually recently heard this argument on tv like around a week ago. Though I can't remember if it was a TV show or a commercial. Or perhaps it was on the radio. What about you bea. Any thoughts on the sandwich dog war?

Im pretty sure a Taco shell isn't considered bread. Therefore it wouldn't go under the classification that Sam uses. Also a Hot Dog feature toppings that might fall off if you hold it wrong, whereas the content of a sandwich is held together by a top and bottom piece of bread making it safer to adjust or move. Finally if "Meat Between Bread" is the only criteria needed for something to be considered a Sandwich, then what about Burgers!?

Well...in a lot of sub shops, the bread is sliced like a hot dog roll and the meat and fillings stuffed in the gap. If that's a sandwich, why isn't a hot dog? For that matter, if you take a slice of bread, mustard, & ham, and then fold it in half, most folks would say that's a sandwich. But replace the ham with a hot dog and now it's not a sandwich?

Strong opinions about weak things! But I don't really have an opinion on that matter, since I don't like hot dogs. That being said, I do have plenty of strong opinions on food, so I get it!

More importantly, is extremely adequate, better or worse than being just adequate? Not sure if it’s the same as negative numbers, a higher number is not better.
