I think I mentioned it somewhere before, so please forgive me if I repeat myself ^^

As you may noticed, in the beginning of the strip Sedine was rather bitchy and screamed too much. Strange thing, I wasn't too aware of it until my husband pointed that out and suggested to tone her down a bit.

Well, I didn't want to turn Sedine around too much overnight. So I decided to do it in rather small steps thru out following strips and stories.

This is actually a good example how the writing did change due to that.

In the first draft, Sedine was very negative, bitchy and angry towards Sam. When I look back at this, I do feel sorry for him ^^"

In the revision I turned her anger more into frustration and Sam's tiredness into surprise over her overreaction. Well, in the end, to give the strip a bit more warmth, I decided to change Sam's reaction into sympathy.

After all, Sedine is just being Sedine and he knows that she's not acting this way out of viciousness.

Honestly, I'm very happy that I changed that strip. On one side I do enjoy Sedine’s emotional antics. But I don't want that people think she is abusive or too much of a bitchy person. After all, that's not what the character or this strip is about :<

Anyway, hope you like it ^^

I love it and i also know a woman whom reacts that way. So you hit a soft spot ^^

It's odd but characters we create take on a life of their own sometimes and surprise even their creators.

Oh, I have to admit...I'm kinda jealous of those women who have enough self esteem not to react that way. But then on the other hand...If I had a hot EX-lover, and my husband wouldn't show the slightest sign of jealousy when he meets that person...I think I would be bit hurt...I guess, jealousy in the right dose does some good...but that's just my opinion ^^ Thank you for the comment :D

Yeah, I find that fascinating :D OK, sometimes I cringe at my own work due to that, because the characters seem to be a bit too unstable or ill-though out. But sometimes, interesting angles appear out of it which help to fuel more ideas, imo :)
