A lot of the compositions of these comics are thanks to my husband (which is also the reason that most of the sharpie roughs have a different handwriting then the pencil drawings ;)

Usually I write down or rough out my idea and then hand it over to my partner, who either leaves it as it is, adds something new (like in this case with that lovely shot in panel 3) or he reworks the whole strip layout entirely.

It's a fun process in which the strip is constantly ping-ponging between us. :)

Enjoying the Work in Progress posts! I have some of mine somewhere from long ago. When in Grad school I did a weekly comic to post on our floor's bulletin board . One of my flaws was that I'm a lousy speller and had to get my GF to double check every balloon for me before I inked it! Very nice partner arrangement and the final product benefits from it. I wish I had someone I could play bluegrass guitar with. Other than my G'Dtr singing with me at family gatherings I'm on my own.

That particular strip had me rolling on the floor laughing. Superb work!

Thank you ^_^ I was a bit worried that the idea behind it appears to be too cliche. But it makes me super happy you like it. Yay :D

I feel you. I have terrible grammar...in German and English :( My husband thankfully corrects all my mistakes, but sometimes a misspelled word slips thruh and needs to be corrected digitally. Can you still look at your old artwork, tho? I cringe when I see stuff I just drew a year ago. I'm kinda glad that most of my earlier artwork is gone for good...at least I hope so O,O
