Don't mind me, just grinning like when idiot when I see Sumin do literally anything 😁

I feel like pentagon in general just screams weird/introvert dad energy (and I love them for it). Except maybe Kino. That boy knows everyone and dances way too well. Lol Also lol when I realised "I wish she'd keep her hair like this" is the most useless thing we could wish for a kpop idol 😂

Kpop isn't really respected much in Korea, whereas acting is held in much higher regard. That is part of the reason why a lot of Kpop idols when they get towards the middle to end of their contracts will try to get into acting. So it is interesting that Sieun started out as an Actress, and has become a Kpop idol. But you can tell she really loves music and it is in her blood, her dad was a popular singer in the 80s.

Yeah I found out from a Twitter meme basically calling out people that didn't know already. I was like 🙃

the showcast for kep1er is high quality b/c kep1er is mnet's group, so it was filmed and edited by mnet. it looks like a music stage or a performance video instead of a showcase. Most groups' company can't afford to do something like that, they would have to pay to rent those cameras, a location, etc whereas mnet owns all of that stuff already.

To clarify Bahiyyih isn't German, her last name is Huening, which is of German origin. She is actually Korean-American via her Dad. Her dad has German heritage, but was born in Brazil. As a kid he moved to America and became a US citizen. later her dad ended up moving to China and becoming a singer.

edit-- whoops, another comment addressed this! oh well. Yes, I was wondering if you knew about Sieun's child/teen acting background! In addition to that, her father is a seriously famous singer in his own right, Park Namjoong. He is now extremely proud to be "better known these days as Sieun's Dad" haha. He posts little dance covers of STAYC's title tracks to TikTok, which is one of the best uses of that platform I've heard of.

I love the STAYC version of Mikrokosmos! Their harmonization and live vocals were amazing here.
