The blu ray of the concert released in Korea two weeks ago (my copy was preordered, atm I only see "sold out" in online shops in my region now) :) The opening with "eight" is epic and worth watching (there is a official video on her YouTube channel for it). Yes, last new music release was 2021 (Lilac, fifth studio album, including Strawberry Moon...) but she had features with other artists like Jay Park ("Ganadara" in 2022). 2022 kinda felt like a sabbatical. The interview show is called IU's Palette. In the last episode released two weeks ago, she interviewed NewJeans :D

Stom.

I think she said she's preparing an album and finishing filming her new drama, her film Dream just been released on Netflix, and I read that the concert is going to be in theatres in Korea.

thx for the reminder regarding Dream. Something to watch for the weekend!

The custom cushions have become something that IU's mom does for each concert. She provides thousands of cushions for the audience to sit on during the show, it's incredibly sweet 💜 And very considerate, because we know that IU concerts can be *long* haha. She loves her encores

You mentioned before how you're running out of artists that you could potentially do deep-dives on for YouTube (like your early I-DLE and Day6 days) - I think IU would be a fantastic option for a series like that. There's just so much fantastic music from her that you haven't heard yet, she's well worth diving into a bit more if you can

Yeah I think I've mentioned it before, but I used to just sleep in if I had to start work at 3pm. I couldn't relax knowing I'd have to work later in the day lol. I've kinda gotten better at that recently but it was a struggle.

That main stadium is from 1988 Seoul Olympics. The Winter Olympics is 2018 Pyeongchang. That is why the stadium needed to go under construction. And that also explains why her green room was filled with antique furniture and huge. It was most likely for VIPs during Olympics. 1988 Olympics was, like you mentioned in the beginning of the video, extremely beneficial to Korea in many ways. It was a huge success. It was definitely the biggest event to hold since Korea at the time was still a developing country.

the bluray copy of the full concert is just now spreading around the internet. would be fun if you could watch the full thing

Can you reupload old IU patreon reactions, cuz two of them arent. available. & Also IU tickets are known for being really cheap. She makes them cheap regardless of production s o that money isnt as much a factor for fans not being able to see her live. So whatever crazy price you are thinking the tickets are, they are definitely a lot cheaper
