Hey everyone,

I'm sorry I wasn't able to meet my goal of three chapters in April. Chapter 175 took a lot longer to work through than I'd anticipated, with quite a bit of cross-referencing older chapters for continuity.

I've already planned out the scenes for the next chapter, so I'll make a start on it tomorrow.

I'm sorry to say this, but multiple place holders and one or less chapters is beginning to grate. I know and understand that this is just one, but other months... I know writing can be hard. (I'm about 6 months behind in my own story.)

I don't understand why this chapter took more than a day or 2 to write. If you are having that much trouble putting words to the page then you are being even more dishonest with your devoted fans than we all thought. Find your voice again Tef, be straight with us. How about some dialog with us as well. Answer some of your critics fears, own your shortcomings. Part of finding yourself again is releasing the guilt for how much you have strung us all along and taken advantage of our addiction to your story. It may very well open up your mind and allow you to actually find the motivation to work on the story. Most authors I follow post weekly. They work 4 to 6 hours a day on writing. You seem to only start writing 2 days before the end of the month. I can tell because your writing style has greatly shifted since the early chapters. You are now caught up in dialog exchanges instead of moving things forward. Get back on track man. We love this stories potential and you are squandering it.

Hey Michael. All I would like is a dose of honesty and a bit more participation from our favorite author. I don't really care if he just puts out 1 chapter a month. I just would like some honesty and it would be nice if said author would participate in some information sharing during the month. Afterall we are paying him many times my monthly salary every month. It would generate a lot of good will if he would interact with the readership regularly during the month.

please consider, Tef began TSM in 2015 on a free site for amateur authors and he found that he had a hit, ... he had no real training but he followed the things those other successful writers before him had done, .... in many ways he is still learning, .... try and give him a bit of slack, ,,, '-) ttfn

i understand the points you make, but i don't understand what they have to do with communication and weekly update posts. I mean, even a "didn't do shit, lol" would be a step forward at this point.

Yeah J, but you are trying to change him, ... maybe for the better, but not by his choice, ... I still think that what Tef truly needs is an Intern to send out weekly or bi-monthly summaries / updates and also to send newer chapters to the free sites, ... the last one was chapter #145, years ago, .... and maybe edit his earlier chapters to be ready for book publishing, ... ;-( (-; ttfn

I’m sure TEF didn’t discover he was behind in publishing new chapters until late on April 31st! Really Tefler? You can do better, I’m sure of it.

There are enough chapters to get everyone hooked, join Patreon and have months to read. And publishing books is not his concern atm where he earns enough through Patreon. His main priority needs to keep the people he has by fulfilling his promises.

He definitely needs to start fulfilling some promises. 1 chapter just isn't enough. I miss the dYs when I still had 50 or 75 chapters to go

im sorry you werent able to meet your goal either. It would be so much easier for all of us if you just communicated more with your readership. a one sentence explanation is piss poor. Come clean, tell the truth, dont bullshit us with some lame, my dog ate it excuse. The truth will set you free, even if you dont think it will. We all love this story and respect you as an author. We know you have it in you to finish this thing and we are behind you. we just want some truth and more interaction. If you feel you have lost your mojo, thats fine. It happens to us all, we understand. Talk to us and maybe we can help you overcome your issues.
