Hey everyone,

I hope you're all having a very merry Christmas and Santa sent you a sexy space elf in stockings! If you weren't on the naughty list and didn't receive a feisty Galkiran thrall, then you have my sympathies... but you can console yourself with a preview of the next chapter of TSM. 

I've attached my first draft of chapter 146. I still have half-a-dozen more scenes planned out, and I'll add them to the chapter when I get back from visiting family over the next couple of days.

.35: I hadn't noted anyone else mentioning a misplaced name, 'Larn' when you should've written 'Rahn'. This was on page 4 of 33 in Word, in a conversation between Tashana and Calara. They were discussing the Shroud and whether it would be dangerous for John to venture into Xar'azaith controlled territory... you'll find it. Wonderful 1st draft! This was a great Christmas present, thank you! ;-) TTFN

Should be Rahn's " Pleasured each other with nimble figures" should probably be fingers, not figures. Guessing a bit on this one.... "euphoria of their join climax" should be joint. " You were really bad hurt" should be badly

So, Mr. Smith isn’t going to comment on the information-fraught look shared between Rachel and Irillith about bringing new life into the world? Especially since Rachel says she can clone new life with no operating system, and Irillith determines she can build a new Nexus server but no body to place it in? That totally screams hybrid Faye design specs, or am I talking out of my butt? ;)

It seems to me that it'd be reasonable (at Calara & Dana's prodding) for John to reach out to Niskera to see if any wreckage of the soulforge can be found in the Trankaran system that Rahn destroyed. Seems probable now that ancient Trankarans salvaged it and brought it to Trankara where it's now known as the Starforge.

@TF007- good point about the Lallenori hackers and Celphna. @Brian - I suspect that the Trankarans' natural gifts with metallurgy allows them to make some use of the Starforge, but putting someone like Alyssa, John or Athena in it with a pile of onyxium will produce something pretty special.

I am hoping for a development with the claiming of the Larathyrians - seeing multiple thrall races working together in harmony would be a stark contrast to Xar’s . And it is time to be back to the Underworld…

One plot hole got fixed. How the raptor which by deca (10) shaping was made invulnerable to beam weapons was trashed at 35x. Mael'nerk used physical ordnance wrapped in shield busting energy. That had been introduced before 146 but attention is brought to that when they "requisition" one of his old guns.

So, time for my biggest criticism of all: sex in the morning before urinating. I'm sorry, but a good morning pee ranks right up there with orgasms (especially at 63yo) and even at 20, no pee, no fun.
