Hey everyone,

Here's the completed version of chapter 163. I've added a # symbol where the previous text ended, so just search for that it you don't want to reread the first half.

Please let me know if you spot any typos and I'll fix them as you find them.

I hope you enjoy it!

Best wishes,

Tefler

Hope you're feeling better, mang.

"the deprivations of a psychopathic Progenitor"... should be "depredations", I think?

BrianM

Thank you, Tefler. Best wishes for a rapid and full recovery from your health problems.

Chicken

Little confused on the end there with John and team turning around like that.

Cignal

Thanks Tefler, hope you get better.

Fun chapter. It’s a bit of a suspension of disbelief that girls as smart as that didn’t think of the solution to saving all the thralls, everyone on the station and go save Venkarys. There were a couple big hints. No spoilers here but I’m sure this is going to be a good discussion on Discord.

WTF, not only did you make this man henpecked but apparently cowardly too...John had a breakthrough after visiting the Kythfaren citadel, and at that time he had all these new fantastical powers become active but never uses them, I mean this is the man that has taken on Xar(whatever)...wth was this Kythfaren reborn stuff supposed to be about, he has these powers now, never discusses them, and can't even telekinetically elevate Dana up into the air to look at a turret wall, He can't defeat a robot, is afraid to challenge his enemy to a duel instead of allowing him to rampage throughout the galaxy, attacking any civilization he comes upon...that makes no sense whatsoever, as John is supposed to be more than a match for any Progenitor now...your story is getting very inconsistent in sticking to the story points that have been used in the past...you may need to step back and refresh yourself with what you've written in previous chapters...

I've noticed it throughout the writing but I really want to say that I think using John as the method of "scene transition" is really well done.

.43: , found another oops, two dropped letters, in Word page 103 of 117, ... Daphne tells John about triggering the explosive Munitions to separate the added-on living modules from the Genwynn station weapon platform, "... can be triggered from with (s/b within) the command centre,..." wonderful story, thank you, ... ;-) ttfn

Absolutely fantastic chapter! Looking forward to when you finish 164. Thanks!

My original reaction to John's rapid set of orders was that he wanted to draw Gahl from Venkalas to him to stop the carnage. Then, since John would have a wormhole generator and Gahl wouldn't, whenever things got too hairy he could just leave. But that thought went away when I realized that 1) he has nymphs on the station and wouldn't leave them to Gahl's tender mercies and 2) he wouldn't leave the space station undefended. and risk losing a few hundred thousand Maliri makes So I'm eager to see the outcome of this strategy. Because right now I don't completely get it. Partially, but not completely

.56: It is the 18th of July, and according to some earlier status updates, .... Tef might finally be ready for his Gall bladder removal surgery later this month or possibly early next month at a bigger / better hospital, .... So, I am guessing that we might be close to a cut off time, similar to Tef's EOM deadlines, and we might just see a few new words, maybe even a whole chapter #164, ... wouldn't that be nice? Fingers are crossed for Tef's good health, .... and to have him once again slaving away on TSM installments very soon (I know, that's my self-interest speaking for me, but what can I say, .... I want to see Gahl'kalgor get his Progenitor ass royally stomped on, .... and to see what else those Maliri Males might have up their cloaked sleeves, .... a superpowered-up Nova Lance maybe? That can blow Thrall shields away, ... wouldn't that be nice? And I really want to read the very next part in chapter #164, when the Thrall fleets are all confused by the great firepower of the invisible weapons platform, plus the Invictus, plus the Maliri Males cloaked battleships, .... oh, those thrall fleets are so toast! And I do also hope that the arrogant Asshat Kal, does a wormhole jump to the remains of Genwynn station to see what's up, .... and he gets some of his immortal tail feathers singed, "run away, Kal, run away," ... those Nymphs manning the guns are ferocious, ... ;-) TTFN

Re: Chapter 146, Pg 57 Disorientated >> disoriented; disorientated is not a word & even if it is, in the twisted UK version of our mutual language, it shouldn't be & you shouldn't use it. Makes you sound like an idjit, which you certainly are not. GeoD
