Growing in the Pale Blue (Patreon)

Pitch black. Midnight. Just the time she liked to be haunting the cemetery next to her apartments.
Standing there, leaning on a tombstone that went up to her hips in height, Blair breathed in the cold air, taking another sip from the wine bottle she had carried over from her place. Work had been a drag. There were only so many times you could tell people no over the phone before you start to lose your mind. And Blair was right at the edge of it. However, a little alone time with her thoughts and some wine was just enough to make her level again. Pulling a pack of cigarettes from her pocket, she began tapping them over and over on one of her svelte thighs, packing the tobacco before pulling one out.
The light from her lighter shone like the north star in the blackness of night; taking a few puffs, she stepped away from the slap of concrete, thick black boots clomping across the fresh cut grass as she found her balance. It was a hot night. Even though the sun had set, the humidity was trapped, and Blair was sweating. She hated sweating. The curse of wearing all black, however, is that you sweat rather often. Its why she was often spotted with an umbrella in the daytime, and sometimes that wasn't enough either. Luckily it had cooled down enough to be a pleasant warmth, just warm enough to be wearing a simple black dress, with a hem that went just to her thighs.

Just as she lit up her cigarette, she heard something. Like a twig had broken from across the large field of human remains and dirt. Looking around, she couldn't see anything. Usually, this wasn't an issue. Most likely, it was a raccoon or some other little feral creature. This being something Blair had been doing for quite a few years now, she had always felt safe. But another strange rustle came from the distance, and it gave Blair enough pause to put her cigarette out, smashing the tip against the side of the cement surface of the tombstone of someone she had never met. Tossing the butt to the ground, she started to make her way to the exit, not wanting to incur any negative karma by outstaying her welcome.
But it seemed like that wasn't going to happen. Not tonight.
“Hey.”
Blair jumped, spinning to look behind herself, and only seeing darkness. The word, however, was whispered. It was close to her ear. Was she hearing things? Losing her mind? The stress of the doldrums of her painfully slow existence had finally caused something within her cerebral cortex to finally give out?
“Over here.” Again, she turned, seeing nothing but darkness and faint outlines of headstones...at first. Taking a second look at a nearby grave, she noticed that, somehow, she could see a rose sitting on it. The fact that she could visually see it, even in the dead of night, was what perplexed her. Blair approached it, slowly, seeing the bright yellow hue of the flower shine brightly against the black marble of the headstone. No lights shone on it, and yet, the pedals let off a faint glow in the night.
“The fuck...?” Blair muttered, reaching down to grab it; the moment her fingers touched the rose, the light seemed to zip right up her arm and into her chest, knocking her back in surprise. It was as if a jolt of heat had gone up her whole arm, and it was now starting to build within her. Looking back down at the rose, the pedals all wilted at once and fell from the stem, Blair dropping it and stepping away in fear and confusion. “Ok...this is some weird shit, I gotta-”
It all happened in an instant. Blair couldn't process it all at once. The heat that suddenly erupted within her chest quickly evolved. She felt the small lumps of flesh contained within her B cup bra suddenly lunge forwards, fabric audibly stretching at the sudden movements. Cleavage she had never had before suddenly pushed out of the top of her low-cut dress, a line forming as domes of flesh pushed upwards in their confines. Gasping for air, Blair felt her bra quickly give in as the back clasp snapped, her new tits shooting forward within the remaining confines of her now very tight dress.“Ahh! What the-HEY! Where'd THESE Come from?!” Blair cried out as her body settled, tits now well beyond her old cup size, looking almost twice as big as they were before. What once filled her hands now spilled out over them, their forms now close to DVDs in diameter. “Jeeeesus...they're huge!” She turned her head to the side. She couldn't see them right now, still being caught in pitch black, but the feeling of flesh over her fingers was unmistakable.
While she stood there struggling, a strange glow started to fill the cemetery. It broke through the pitch blackness around her, the trees and slabs of concrete surrounding the area shining dully under the strange ethereal lighting. A fog quickly rolled around the ground, the temperature dropping quickly. Looking down, she could actually see her cleavage now, and her struggling dress, which had split a few seams around the arms from failing to hold back her new ballistics. “I...I gotta get outta here...” She tried moving, but as soon as she took a step, her foot sunk into the dirt, which now seemed to be wet and sludgy, sucking in her foot. She took another step, off balance, her other foot sinking down as well. Blair struggled and tugged at her legs, but the muck wouldn't let go. A soft giggle then pierced the deep silence, causing her eyes to dart up. The sight made her whole body freeze deeper, her words catching in her throat.
The figure of a woman stood before her. Well, it didn't stand. Standing required feet. In fact, it was really only the top of her torso that hovered a few feet from the ground, fiberglass-like strands dangling from the bottom and swaying with no breeze. There was no color to her, aside from a few shades of pale blue. Her face was beautiful, but cracked here and there, scratches under her eyes and across her throat. Blair struggled to free herself, her pace quickening in a panic, which only caused the floating ghoul to giggle once again.
“Where are you going?” The voice echoed, icy, but high-pitched and youthful. Blair paused, looking back up, the figure now closer with a confused look upon their face.
“I...um...I kinda had to head back h-home now, s-so...” The figure giggled at that, once again.
“But you love it here, don't you? That's why you're always here all the time...” The tone of her voice was hard to parse. It was monotone, yet morose, yet quizzical and innocent. “I've watched for a really long time...you remind me of someone I knew...back when I was on the other side of the glowing fence...”
“Glowing fence...? What're you-”
“Then again, she was way bigger than that. I thought I put enough oomph into that rose but I guess I undershot it a little...”“Wait...YOU did this to me?! Why?!” Blair held her hands to her tits, giving them a heave for emphasis. The apparition giggled at her dumbfounded look.
“Cuz I miss Bea...she was always so nice to me...and she was so...beautiful...including her...well, I can't really explain it, I should just show you!”
“No, really, that's ok, I believe you, please, can you just...let me go-” It was too late. Beatrice's eyes rolled into the back of her head. The whites in her ghastly skull began to glow bright white as she pointed at her, mouth open as a low groan emitted from deep back in her throat. Blair could only stand there and struggle, stressing as a strange sensation began to make its way back through her body. It felt as if something was crawling under her skin, making its way inward towards her breasts. They seemed to swell up, her breathing getting quicker and quicker as her nipples rose to attention and pushed their way out of the top of her bra, brushing across the tight fabric of her quickly failing dress.
“N-no...stop...nnn!” Blair grabbed at her breasts as they began to pulse. Her cleavage deepened, shoving its way from the confines of her bra as she struggled. What was once DVD sized quickly upgraded to be as big as her head, their forms throbbing and pulsing outwards. Blair winced, her pale skin glistening in the pale blue light. Her dress began to split more and more to pieces, fabric shredding like a curtain as her tits lolled out and flopped onto her torso. Blair couldn't believe it; they were massive, larger than any of her friends, larger than any of the big-titted goth girls she had grown up worshipping and putting posters up all over her childhood walls. No, these were beyond anything she had ever idolized when she was younger.
“Theeere we go...that's more like it...” The disarmingly innocent voice of the strange entity rang out once more. “Then again...hmmm...I think it was maybe even a little bigger than that...and she was a bit on the shorter side compared to you...I really miss her...” Its head hung in sorrow, but lifted once again, eyes now filling with red as its body twitched and shook. “You...I'll make you...perfect...I'll make you...just like her!” Blair merely trembled, grabbing at her bust. It felt warm, the pale flesh below her fingertips capped with bright pink nipples that left off a soft glowing aura in the light.
“P-please, I'm begging you...just let me-” She was cut off by a loud noise. It sounded like the lights of a football stadium turning on, with a bright orange glow filling the cemetery. The ghostly figure looked up, screaming out as the light quickly enveloped it. Gradually, holes began to slowly appear across its face, then its body, gradually disintegrating until nothing but little flickers remained.
Blair looked up to see what appeared to be a streetlight suspended above her, except it wasn't attached to the ground. It merely hung up in the air, suspended by nothing. Pulling at her feet, she felt them come out of the ground with ease, the mud and muck now gone. Blair let out a heavy sigh, sitting on a nearby grave to catch her breath. Looking down, she could only gawk at how massive her tits had become. They were a few inches bigger than her head, perfectly teardrop shaped, capped with nipples about as big as thimbles.
“These can go away any time...!” Blair hissed through gritted teeth, giving them a slight squeeze. She was almost surprised by how pliable they were, flesh giving to the slight pressure of her fingers pressing in.
“They won't though!” Another voice, a different, much more preppy voice, echoed in the graveyard. Blair quickly looked up to see a short, auburn haired girl. She seemed quite young, maybe even a bit younger than her, but also incredibly calm and collected considering where she was. “Hi, sorry, I should introduce myself first, shouldn't I? Hehe!” She stepped towards her, orange light bathing them both as she stretched her hand out. “Name's Autumn! I'm here cuz I sensed spirits acting out, and I'm usually correct whenever I feel them misbehaving.”
“So...so that was a ghost, then?” Autumn shook her head. “Right...um...so...my name's Blair...and...why did it do this to me, again?” Blair asked, gesturing at her swollen pale bust, practically shimmering in the soft orange light. Autumn shrugged.
“Ghosts do all kinds of things that don't make sense to mortals. They see a lot on the other side of the Spirit Fence that just...I dunno, they forget how to talk with the living after a while. So she was probably trying to change you into a memory of hers or something.” Blair sighed out in frustration, adjusting her shoulders and rubbing her neck. The weight of their new size was already causing her muscles to ache.
“Well...am I gonna turn back to normal...?” Blair asked earnestly. Autumn rubbed her neck nervously and laughed.
“Um...well...you see...I...don't really know how...how to do that, unfortunately...” Blair's heart sank – she was now being confronted with an all new physicality, and with that, a new lifestyle. She'd need new clothes and would have to explain this to her workplace and her friends... “But!~” Blair lifted her eyes to the small woman, a big grin across her face. “I know somebody who CAN fix you!” A small white business card appeared in her hand, and she reached out and let Blair grab it. On it was an address, a phone number, and a name:
“Tiffany Massing. Growth and Reduction Specialist.” She spoke it aloud to herself, quietly, then looked back up. “So she can-”
Autumn was gone. The orange light dimmed, then gradually went out, leaving the cemetery in pitch darkness once more. Blair resolved to make her way to this Tiffany tomorrow, and made her way back home in the meantime...
