The idea for this came when people started commenting about thinking Rosie was hotter than Daphne, and imagining what Daphne might think of that.

An interesting thing when drawing recurring characters is my improvement as an artist. I think if you compare my art in this issue to the same characters in Jackanapes #1, you’ll find quite a difference. And yet, I have to keep some continuity in how the character is drawn. I think Bill Watterson managed this well in Calvin & Hobbes, where you can tell he advanced quite a bit, but the characters were still recognizably themselves.
