So whaddya think? Daphne caught up to Rosie in hotness yet? I do, for some reason, like giving Daphne more cartoonish, exaggerated expressions; maybe because she’s a ridiculous character, whereas Rosie is more of a straight-woman.

Anyway, this is technically June’s second page— sorry, the end of the month went by really quickly for me. But, you get two more pages this month, so, all good?

Both Daphne and Rosie are really hot, but in very different ways; I prefer Rosie, because I think her down-to-earth personality is just more appealing to me, whereas Daphne is more of a "girls just wanna have fun" type, which is great, but like I said, I do prefer Rosie's personality between the two.

Oh God, I can’t imagine who would prefer Daphne’s personality. Not that she doesn’t have a human side to her, but I write her as almost a sociopath.

A sociopath? Wow, I just saw her as very self-absorbed and selfish, but almost in a child-like, immature way, not really meaning harm to others by it.

She’s capable of growth, and more a product of her upbringing right now, so you’re right. There’s a throwaway line about her torturing serfs with the king, and of course I’ve got a loose script in my head that you all haven’t seen, so I’ve got more of a picture of her as very much not a good person right now. But as I said, she’ll get a arc— think a very lewd “Emperor’s New Groove.”

Going back to the original point, Rosie was not at all part of my original story plan, but after a while I felt like a bit of a misogynist with how I was writing the only female character, so I brought her in, in part, as a positive counterbalance to Daphne.

Yup; Warburton is the go-to guy for muscly, sort of "meat-head" type of guys. He's just perfected that "type" of voice, and I'm saying this as a total positive, because I love his voice his acting in general, but especially his voice acting work.
