My wife was in a pretty bad car accident today, and while she’s thankfully escaped with “only” a concussion, it’s still a rather severe concussion and she still can’t walk without assistance. For you all, unfortunately, that means that a night I was supposed to spend drawing was instead spent in the ER, and tomorrow night, instead of drawing the last page of Jackanapes, I will instead likely be giving her some extra TLC. It’s not looking good for me getting you all the next page of Jackanapes, or this month’s “cel,” by the end of  this month but it’ll all be made up early next month.

Sorry.

No problem at all - take care of your family! I hope she’s feeling better; you as well.

Thanks for the heads up but like Mark said - family first. I wish her a speed recovery.

Concussion can be very debilitating hope she gets better soon. Also shock. Make sure you give her lots of TLC for as long as needed.

You have nothing to be sorry for - family comes first! Take all the time you need and I hope she recovers quickly.

Take care of her, man. If she’s anything like my wife, she’s a lot of why you’re able to do what you do. Looking forward to the deluge of make-up work later 😅
