As a manga reader Aira is my favorite character. I love all of them, but Aira’s arc is my favorite. Basically, like we’ve seen in the last few episodes she’s a tough, smart, and disciplined girl who stops applying that energy to being popular and instead applies it to being a complete badass and leader. The whole “I’m the leader” thing starts as joke but… I love all of these kids. They’re all such amazing people and it’s fun to see them flex parts of themselves that their regular lives wouldn’t let them show, which is what all the crazy stuff they go through is for. Momo is a badass and a genius on her feet, Ken’s deep knowledge of the occult and love for people is awesome, Jiji is a heroic, dorky cinnamon roll, and Aira is a resourceful and realistic badass who is trusted to make tough decisions because (just like that early morning makeup routine, which was just cute to us at the time) she does the work for everything she has. Goddamnit I love this story.
