I am a Klaroline shipper but I agree this scene came out of nowhere, and also agree it could be just heavy manipulation as of right now. Like yeah he saved her life, but he was the one who put it in danger in the first place, then used it to get the Sheriff of the town to not only support him, but also invite him into their home. Then instead of just healing Caroline, he makes her ask for him to heal her. Sure he didn't ask for anything in return, but it just seems like he just wanted to hear her actually ask him and idk I feel like after everything else he coulda just done it.

One word I keep going back to, comparing the bridge scene to any other, is INTENTIONALITY. As bad as it was when Damon killed Jeremy, it was not his intention, he was lashing out. As bad as it is when Elena takes Jeremy's choice or when Damon takes away Elena's, their intention was always to save the person, not to hurt them. While, with Stefan, his intention is to beat Klaus. That's it. AT THE COST of hurting Elena. Even if it was just a bluff, I can never forgive him for it because he didn't care about her in that moment, and he INTENTIONALLY even made it extra painful for her by choosing Wickery bridge when there was absolutely no need for it if not to have it be slightly more believable. And THEN he just leaves her....? sure, boy. Bye.

This is difference between Damon & Stefan giving Elena vampire blood. Damon did it for she at least come back to everyone his actions were out of love and loss Stefan was out of revenge only & no one can say either way if he goes threw with it or not that's the sick part yet Damon didn't threaten to kill Elena he just gave her blood Stefan gave her blood threaten to end her human life. Sorry but these two actions are not the same. This is where Stefan didn't deserve Elena anymore to me he lost her forever she just hasn't admitted yet. Damon aways chooses to save her first even if she hates him for it Stefan chose revenge.

Caroline ship with Klaus might be the stupidest ship in this series he already went to far threaten all her friends killing Jena and really Bonnie would of died if not for Damon plan to fake her death. Klaus & Caroline is Gross 😝 the worse thing Klaus has done isnt even shown yet. Sorry but not sorry it reminded me of Negan in TWD he smashed Glen and Abe heads in with baseball bat and some how Maggie will forgive him seriously people even ship them sick. One thing watching these series I personally think Klaus has to die eventually for everything hes done to just Elena. There is zero chance Damon character would ever let him slide sooner or later he plans Klaus end its just in Damon character. I know Klaus grows as a character so did Negan in the end both need to die to complete their arcs. Some people just done to much evil the scale will never even out. But that's my opinion on Klaus plus he been doing it for ever not 150 years & did the same thing to Katherine family as Elena. Nah he has to die!

Craziest part is Stefan has his humanity on . So he could just have a good life with Elena . But he chose revenge.
