Pushing update drop! (Patreon)

I have some horrible news, my god it's a tragedy!

The update will have to be pushed back; not because of something actually important, BUT BECAUSE OF SUPERBOWL LIX TOMORROW!!!

(I've actually been so busy with writing , working, and irl shit that i completely forgot the superbowl was this weekend, which explains why I have so many relatives coming over lmfao. I only just found out cause we're cleaning up the house big time; I actually thought I was getting a random three-day weekend)

And guys, omg, this will set us back...

ONE DAY!

Yeah, the update will drop Monday instead of Sunday like planned. Thankfully though, I have Monday off (cause of Sunday's superbowl thank god) so it'll afford me a full day of writing.

I also won't be drinking, so no hangover for me! Gotta keep the head clear for Monday after all.

Why this impacts my ability to deliver the update, if youre not American OR if you dont give a flying fuck about Football, is because I have no choice in the matter as my house will be full of friends and family who DO care and want to use the game as an excuse to hang out together. And I can't exactly be in my room writing while everyone else is there.

Progress from my previous report:

I've already refined what i showed you guys in the screen shots, refined the surprise addition, and refined a majority of the South exploration (aka the least interactive route where mom and dad make up after having their fight that happens whether or not youre there). Ive managed to make some headway with East and West and the coding, but my main focus for the rest of my available time before Monday is the North exploration and the rest of the South.

Again, nothing serious and nothing heavy as it should be fairly simple and quick as it is a redux of the Lady Galiel and the Lymarkian Master Builder arguing, but now with more characters watching the MC making things worse or better.

Alot of what i'm building in the exploration routes is being added to my "Library" of code that I copy and paste in the future to work faster and more efficiently, like the code for increasing or decreasing the Factions opinion of you. For example, for the North Route:

Taking Lady Galiel's side increases Noble and Commoner opinion, while decreasing Mercantile.

Taking the Master Builder's increases Mercantile, while decreasing Noble and Commoner.

Reason for that is the fact people still dont like the Lymarkians in Argent, whereas the Mercantile homies want more trade (duh)

The Militant faction/characters dont give a fuck lol
