Small update (1k+) (Patreon)

Okay, just want to say I have NOT forgotten that i was supposed to update today. It's ten minutes til midnight, and I was unable to push through and finish Arava's origin story.

BUT, I am very happy with how it is turning out.

The mini-update here is the route with the Templars, Beltheans, and the first look at a Herald of Snow, from the mysterious and isolationist Kingdom of Kayzack.

As for what im still working on...

I think its a beautiful tale, one that should help the reader understand why Zera doesn't allow the world to break him into becoming vindictive and cruel. It's challenging to make Master Feren be able to tell it appropriately for children however. And that's slowed things down a bit.

But again, im having tons of fun recounting the tale of one of the most important figures in KaE history into a child's tale. It is most decidedly NOT a fairytale, but the lessons to be learned in the story are most assuredly the most use to a child learning to be more kind, more empathetic.

Plus, it then becomes a meta tragedy when you learn just how far the Kin have fallen from Arava's day. It most certainly sticks to Zera HARD, and the frustration with knowing that your people used to be better, greater, and more inspiring must sting.

It's funny to put so much effort into something a good amount of players may not even know exists if they dont replay the game... but it's worth it to me.

Anyways, that's it! Enjoy the 1k+, or wait for the rest of it to release around by the end of tomorrow. There's still work being done around the house to the point I need to help out, but im confident i can get the rest of the East exploration out by tomorrow evening. The work around the house is almost over, thankfully.
