Character Card: Edward

Edward's appearance during his time in the academy:

178 cm- 5'10" tall

Fair skin with light blue eyes.

He retains boyish or youthful looks that starkly contrasts with his natural stoicism. Slim yet athletic, Edward is more agile than his more muscular peers. 

His dark auburn hair is short and cropped, styled upon the advice of his mentors who have experienced war. 

Like other Blessed children of nobility, Edward wears the black uniform. Always adhering to the rules, he keeps it tidy and neat. The only alteration made is the red cuffs of the uniform that both his sister and cousin both wear as a sign of Mendrion solidarity.

Edward himself:
Unlike most, Edward was born sickly and prematurely. Thus his physical development was hampered. But this hasnt stopped him from worker even harder than those his age. In the academy, you will see Edward be the first to volunteer for the unwanted assignments, simply because someone has to do them. His dependability has made him very popular. His face is often marked by a serious and contemplative expression, reflecting his sense of duty and responsibility.

Edward's personality:
Edward is known for his fairness, integrity, and unwavering loyalty. He is a man of principles, who values loyalty and duty above all else. He is wise and stoic, often displaying a reserved and thoughtful nature. He is also fiercely protective of his family and his people, and he carries the weight of his responsibilities with a sense of self-sacrifice. His genuine care for others is evident in the way he conducts his personal relationships, always making time for those he loves and offering unwavering support. He is known more for listening to the troubles of others, and knowing what to say with what was said to him. 

Edward and romance:

When courted, Edward treats his relationship with the same care and consideration that he extends to every aspect of his life. He is a giver, a caretaker who finds purpose in providing for others. When in his presence, one cannot help but feel anchored, as if the world’s chaos melts away around him into order and peace. Should you ever feel down, Edward is known to share his private poetry, his soothing words providing comfort and solace. You must be on good terms with his sister and cousin. 

Edward likes and dislikes:

He likes: His family, hardworkers, honesty, sweets, tea, poetry, and baked pastries with jelly inside. He likes Voryn and Amina.

He dislikes: Laziness, the imperial family, alcohol, traitors, disorganization.

Edward and family:
The Mendrion family is close-knit. Frederick and Cheris are the two closest individuals in his life, and his confidants.
