"Whatchu looking at, son?"

A good friend of mine commissioned me to daddify their hyena character, giving me creative freedom with it. I'm SOOO happy with what I made here, and I feel like my shading methods are becoming more refined fast!

They really are, beautiful colors in ultra-soft tones. Love how chill the fella looks here, and the hot peek-age of course as well! FANTASTICALLY done!!

I love how clean your sketch is and how crisp your lines and coloring is. I really wanna pick your brain on how you work haha. Lovely work

I mean, if you look at the first 2 uploaded images they're anything but clean sketches! ✨ But they're there for me to feel out the gesture and form. Ultimately, if you wanna get serious with art you gotta pick up some training materials and study! My big recommendation for figure drawing is the book 'Michael Hampton Figuredrawing Design & Invention'. Go through it and you'll absolutely become better than me at this fundamental!

I'm so happy with it! Probably the kinda style I'll run with more as I do shaded pieces - this really didn't take me all that long. Thank you so much gael ♥
