I've been poisoning my brain the last couple of weeks narrowing down 2000 prospective McMansions to 16. Please give me a round of applause for this immense personal sacrifice. Instead of ranking them myself like I usually do, I will be doing a bracket at the end of the next post where you can vote for the Most Terrible in Texas!

Can someone explain what "y gerkin??" means? It's near the top center of House #4.

I love cubism as much as the next person, and house #3 (Cascading Nope) is a rare specimen of cubism in the wild. It had my vote, until I saw Mount Nub (#5). And then I knew existential fear. How many ex-wives do you think Mr Rochester has stuffed up in that attic?
