Hey everyone, wanted to post a quick update. I'm already back to drawing pictures, and I've been spending whatever spare time I can find in the evenings playing Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave.

Does anyone else feel like everything takes forever in this game? I started the game with Leda, before doubling back to work my way though Dietrich's route. I'm having a great time, though after half a month, it feels like hardly anything has happened in the story so far. Free time is nice, but it definitely pads things out, for better and worse. I only wish I had more time to play.

I thought that after surgery, I could use the recovery time to dig in, but instead, I was feeling up to working, and anxious to get back to drawing, so... I just pretty much sat back down at my desk and got to it. So much for the video game vacation, lol.Anyway, I felt the hype so I started working on a new pinup of Leda, in collaboration with Ecchi. I provided the rough sketch, and he's developing the picture. I'll probably end up coloring her myself, so look forward to that.

In the meantime, I've been doing a bunch of sketches featuring some of the FEFW female cast that patrons have directed me towards. I know the color sketches aren't as complete as the pinups, but I love all the things I can do with the characters on a sketch page. I especially like playing characters off of one another. It's like I get to make S-rank support conversations happen... I just have to draw them. Hahaha.

I have been listening to a couple of podcasts and reading other thoughts from friends and streamers who are playing this. There's A LOT to do and some are just barely scratching the surface. Just take your time with the game and enjoy the journey. Glad you are having fun overall.

I am DELIGHTED to see what y'all come up with for these ladies. Also: The game is A LOT. So much. I'm loving it for the most part, mind you, but yeah. Also also: If you jump timelines a lot before finishing Act 1 on one of them, you're basically not getting the benefit of all the karma-spending buffs that you can apply. The game does a TERRIBLE job of letting you know this. Sigh.

From my time playing Dietrich and Cai’s routes, this game definitely feels like the MOST Fire Emblem game ever made. Like, there is so much game in this game! They really want to make sure we get some good value out of that $70-$80 purchase.

Best tip I can give Mina is to do one route on Part 1, one at time. Bonuses and completed side-quests carry over across routes but ONLY if you completely finish a route first before switching to another.
