Go for it, Fabio!! (Patreon)

Umm Mina, where are the hot girls?!

I know, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. ^_^;;

So I did this one on a whim. It's inspired by an adorable BL manga called "Go for It, Nakamura!" I absolutely love the graphic design of this cover and have always wanted to do a parody version of it. (On a side note, Syundei's art has such a charming retro Rumiko Takahashi vibe to it. The main character even looks a bit like Tatewaki Kuno. But I digress!)

Over the years, I've considered a few different pairings for this concept. Byleth and Edelgard, Tifa and Aerith... But Fabio grabbed me with his impassioned Part 1 ending speech, and it had to be them. Did I perhaps also choose to draw this because it gave me an excuse to draw Dietrich's pretty face six times? (maybe...) The Esme chibis came to me in a moment of inspiration when I was pondering how adapt the octopus (lion, horse, pale raven....? no! Esmeralda!!) By the way, everything on this was hand-lettered... because apparently I insist on doing things the hard way.

Pardon this small diversion.
