what a start to a story good stuff

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'The Admirals stood around a circular table'

Snekguy

4000 word update, new content at “I’ll have the Chief of Security see to it,”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'There’s no way for us to be sure'

Alphaonetango
>>29792095

Line 207 "“We sail oceans of sand,” the replied cryptically, Moralez raising an eyebrow." replace the with "She replied" if that's what you are going for that is.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'The Rask had to fight for everything that they had.'

Aurius

Beyond hyped for the story Snek! Have been since you announced it and so far it definitely hasn't disappointed any of that hype. With regards to the palace though 1,500 square feet is pretty small. The description implies it is much larger than that, but that is about a small to mid sized family home. The description does remind me somewhat of the Taj Mahal which, for reference, is about ~34,500sq feet or so according to google.

Snekguy

3000 word update, new content at “Their politics, certainly,”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'You honor me, Matriarch'

Alphaonetango
>>29893198

Wow Korbaz is now in the “cunt” category now. She needs to be punished, bad kitty get the spray bottle.

Snekguy

No update today, unfortunately. I've been working on designs for the UNN armored vehicles and the Assault Carrier, which ended up taking around 8 hours. Turns out tanks are way more complicated than spaceships...

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'The garage was a bustle of activity'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'Recon sixteen slid forwards on its trolley'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “We haven’t been in the Coalition for very long,”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'He walked over to the troop ramp'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'He pressed the remote again' Sorry my updates keep getting later and later btw. I keep encountering roadblocks with the vehicle designs. They're pretty much all done now, so it shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'Feeling a little better' Encountered a small error that will need to be retconned. As an Araxie, Lozka is nocturnal, and thus would need to wear protective eye-wear in the desert! Will add that in later.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'It may be nocturnal'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'His stubbornness had taught her'

Snekguy

2500 word update, new content at 'Lozka had been watching from her seat beside the pool'

Snekguy

2500 word update, new content at “Maybe we can make things better,”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “We’re clear,” Just a heads up, I'm doing Holiday related family stuff tomorrow, so I'm not sure if I'll have time to get an update out.

Snekguy

1500 word update, was pretty busy today. New content at 'Korbaz awoke to the Crewmaster’s snoring' The next few days are gonna be pretty packed for me, I know I'm gonna be busy on the 25th and 26th because I'll be driving out to see family, maybe tomorrow too. After that, back to the regularly scheduled programming.

Snekguy

3000 word update, new content at “It’ll be nice to drive on a hard surface again,” Holiday stuff is all done now, resuming regular update schedule.

Snekguy

3000 word update, new content at 'They continued on, leaving the watchful natives behind them.'

Sebas Tian

I know it's not really my place to ask, but can the only human Korbaz get with (if she gets with anyone at all) be Moralez? I have been binge reading a lot of your work and contemplating supporting you for a bit now. Regardless of that, the reason I'm asking is because there chemistry seems really good to me, or at least how they interact with each other. Anyway thanks for the great work man!

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “You never woke me up for my watch,”

Snekguy
>>30520691

Thanks for reading, glad to hear you've been enjoying the stories! Any support is much appreciated, of course. Moralez is spoken for, unfortunately. While Kaisha wouldn't object to some good-natured hatefucking on the side, it's not really in his character. He's a one-woman cyborg. I have something planned for Korbaz that I think you'll enjoy, however. Stay tuned!

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'Every vehicle seemed to be firing in a different direction'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'The suns had set hours ago'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'Another shot narrowly missed them' Happy New Year!

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'He pressed his gloved finger'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'You exhibit all of the traits'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'He hesitated, but it was clear to her that he wanted very badly to speak.'

Anonymous

Why am I more invested in your stories than professionally authored books

Snekguy

1500 word update, new content at 'They ate their fill' I wrote more, but I didn't like how it turned out.

Terminal_Boy
>>30779907

Because they’re better? Also, 99.9% of interspecies romance tales are poorly written and/or solely feature a female human getting The D from males elves, orcs or predators.

Alex McCutcheon

Out of curiosity, where are you in the book? Take your time and all, but are you in the middle? Towards the end? Still in the beginning? I want to read it when it’s done and am just wondering where you’re at

Snekguy

Taking a little bit of a break today, been working late for a few nights in a row. Will resume regular updates tomorrow.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'Mizi hopped out of Lozka’s lap'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'The minutes ticked by'

The Glimmering Warlock

I know it's a small thing but I really enjoyed the bit in the beginning with the two Rask soldiers refusing to fight. Nice little bit of nuance to show the Rask aren't just "The Bad Guy Side" before we jump down the military sci-fi/alien romance hole.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “Bearing three-fifteen, another vehicle!”

Snekguy
>>30930985

The Rask are certainly less united than they would lead their enemies to believe.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “Chin up, Bazza. We’ve gotten out of worse situations before.”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “We have only one way to be sure,”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'The female tugged Cooper’s arm'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'Vitza collected the prosthetic'

Sebas Tian

Lol that has to be one of the most transparent "good cop bad cop" routines I have ever seen xD. Thanks for the updates man!

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'He was too hungry to refuse'

Sebas Tian

Man I love this guy xD. Hilarious.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “I’m not even sure what we’re looking for,”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'Ben and Lozka secured the camouflaged tarp over the Timberwolf'

Kracker

Line 1239, Ben's name is spelled Been. Also, Mizi introduces herself to Ben as Mizi'pal'otl, but Lozka refers to her as Mizi'te'motl.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “I can tell you one thing,”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'She arched her back'

Snekguy

1600 word update, new content at “We’d best turn in,” Was a little busier today, had to do some work with an artist, which I will upload presently!

Sebas Tian

I can just imagine Cooper saying "so now it's sex?" XD man I am really enjoying his personality.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “See anything that you like?”

The Glimmering Warlock

I respect the hustle Korbaz, normally the play of "fucking them into submission" works in the Pinwheel universe. But I have a suspicion that she is punching above her weight class here.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'Cooper tried to slow the rapid beating of his heart.'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “That could work,”

Sebas Tian

Really hope Cooper doesn't fall to temptation, though I couldn't really blame him if he did xD. Regardless can't wait to read the rest, going to wait for maybe a week then binge it again.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'His fingers reached the elastic waistband of her tight shorts'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'She unzipped the suit down to his waist'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'He began to move his fingers'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'Mizi’s thighs tensed' Sorry for the late update today, a migraine took me out for a good eight or nine hours that I'd usually spend working.

Snekguy

Update is done but Pastebin seems to be down, I'll find another way to get it to you guys if it doesn't come back up soon.

Snekguy

Pastebin is back up. 2000 word update, new content at “What’s that human proverb?”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'Ben gripped her waist in his hands'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'They were both still nude'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'He thrust a Borealan helmet into her hands'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'He switched his view to the rear cameras'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “However many remain, we will hunt them down,”

Hamerad

Gotta say, Cooper the Australian is spot on. Being Australian myself it is kinda strange but also cool to have someone from my own country so clearly written into a story. It is a testament to your skill as a writer that you have been able to show a nationality through written dialogue alone.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'She looked conflicted, her furry tail whipping back and forth behind her.'

Snekguy
>>31976544

Glad you're liking him, hearing that from an Australian is a relief. I'm doing important academic research, mostly revolving around The Chats and Michael Cusack videos.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “They are proud to serve their Matriarch,”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'She would never admit it to him'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'The two walls were lined'

Snekguy

I spent the day packing, and I gotta be up very early tomorrow for moving-related reasons, so no update today, unfortunately. Unless something unforeseen happens, I see no reason I can't write tomorrow.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'His companions climbed into the seats to either side of him'

Snekguy

3000 word update, new content at “This has been a long time coming,”

Snekguy

2500 word update, new content at “You good?”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “Still no contact from the Landslide?”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'After tapping at the control panel for a minute'

Sebas Tian

Ohh man, can't wait for Cooper to finally fulfill her dirty dirty sub fantasy's xD.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'The leather creaked audibly'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “Deeper,” she whispered'

Sebas Tian

CMON COOPER! YOU CAN DO IT! HOLD! HOLD! I BELIEVE! thanks for the update xD

Sick graywolf

I'm loving this! I'm hoping Cooper makes the admiral see reason and makes her beg!

Snekguy

2700 word update, new content at 'Korbaz called the remaining female over'

Snekguy

2700 word update, new content at “Got it,” Song said'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'The operator began to tap at touch panels'

The Glimmering Warlock

Really enjoying this so far, the part where the black ops team just dusts the incoming carrier reminds me of watching drone/AC-10 gunner footage where you are emotionally distant from the damage even though you intellectually know 100s of people just got turned into paste. Also good job on getting Korbaz to be sympathetic, I was genuinely curious on how you where gonna go about that.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “Loyalty and courage are what endure after death, Admiral,”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'Mizi set about cleaning her fur'

Snekguy

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'He turned to watch as she began to thrust with her tail'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “No tricks this time,”

Snekguy

I don't have enough bandwidth to update the main Pastebin file today, someone is hammering the public Wifi I'm stuck using, so I had to make a separate paste for today's update: https://pastebin.com/iZ6pEbiM

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “Why do you think I’ve been sleeping on you all this time?”

Kracker

Line 3266, Lozka is misspelled as Lorzka.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'All three of them remained on the bench'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “I wanted to speak with you alone,”

Snekguy

2500 word update, new content at 'Somehow, the only subject that sparked any kind of interest in her was Cooper'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “But you’ll listen to me if I get one over on you?”

Aurius
>>33076896

Line 3734 has a 0 in "Cooper decided t0o. . ." Great stuff as always Snek, fantastic scene all around.

Snekguy

No update today, sorry. I had to drive out to move some furniture into my new place.

Snekguy

2700 word update, new content at 'He hadn’t really understood until now'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'Korbaz leaned over to pick up her discarded decanter from the sheets'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'He began to move down her torso'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “You won’t do shit,”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'She began to come down on him harder'

Snekguy

3500 word update, new content at 'It was a struggle to keep his grip' Just a friendly reminder to please refrain from posting spoilers in respect for those who prefer to wait until the story is finished before reading, as plot things are happening!

Snekguy

2500 word update, new content at 'He gave her an affectionate punch' I'm finally going to be able to move into my new place tomorrow, so expect a day without updates, maybe two, as it's quite a drive and I'll need to move all my stuff in.

Terminal_Boy

No worries, take your time getting settled in.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “Maybe they’re just sick of fighting,” There's a small retcon, Torzi and Gazga are no longer leaving the crawler, I needed them for a few extra scenes. I'm finally all moved in, and there should be no disruptions until the weekend, when I'll be moving some more furniture.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'Cooper waited for them to leave'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “I’m Corporal Cooper, sir,”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'He and Korbaz returned to the elevator'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'His explorations eventually took him down to the engine room'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at “Thanks, guys,”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'As she raced through the treetops'

Should be "storm" rather than "stormed" in paragraph 4519 “I wish we could see a little further in this damned stormed,” he muttered under his breath, watching the icons that represented the different companies move across the three-dimensional map.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'He reached out and pressed'

Hamerad

Those poor bastards. I was expecting a more even contest once it came to combat in the trenches, but then I realised that all the Rask that could have actually put the heat on the UNN infantry were either dead or in Korbaz’s fleet. Or in that transport from the Pinwheel that doesn’t seem to have made it to its final destination

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'The Kodiaks were moving up to the next trench'

Snekguy
>>33865005

Not quite all! There are some purple-wearing fellas that are making their entry.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'The right flank was making headway'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'The Yagda glided across the battlefield'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'The cloud of dust rolled over the trenches like a pyroclastic flow'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'The signature report of a railgun rang out'

Hamerad

So, big dog Snek, I was thinking that would it not make sense for old mate Sarif to send a couple of Araxie hunter packs into the jungle after dark to clear out any possible resistance. I don’t know how many Araxie he has. Maybe just Lozka. Anyway, it’s only a tiny detail but for some reason it stuck in my mind.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'With any luck, there would be no need for a repeat of what had happened at the gate'

Snekguy
>>34149462

That would be a good idea, yeah, though only Lozka is present in this situation. Maybe he could have brought some Elysian Rangers in too.

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'They stepped out into the cold night air'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'There were verdant shrubs that bloomed with colorful flowers'

2000 word update, new content at “Welcome home, Admiral.”

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'What makes you think that you can prevail'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'Still frantically patting her smoking hair'

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'She turned to examine the throne for a moment'

Kracker

Line 4459, "It is what I born to do."

Snekguy

2000 word update, new content at 'What should be done about'

Alex McCutcheon

Hay snekguy How are you doing with carona isolation

Snekguy

Final update, new content at “You seem to be growing more accustomed to palace life,” FINISHED! The final word count is 225,739. Now I have to edit the damned thing.

Snekguy

The final 16,000 words are edited! It's basically finished, I just need to go back and correct a few continuity errors and small mistakes that I found, which I'll do tomorrow. I may also add in an extra scene or two here and there. Then I can start work on the Ebook and begin uploading it to the various websites. It's so large that it may need to be split into two parts to reach file size and chapter number limits, but we'll see.

rocks217

Well done as always, thanks for something good to read in Quarantine

Snekguy

Finished! The final errors have been corrected, and the last tweaks have been made. I'll make the Ebook tomorrow.
