v0.16 of Rebel Duet is underway, and should be released quite a lot faster than the previous update.

This release will be much more romance and sex-heavy, which typically takes less time for me to develop compared to the darker stuff that was in the last couple of updates.

One of the new sex scenes sees a return to the spot downtown where the protagonist and Valerie got frisky with one another. While the Act 3 scene ended at foreplay, you'll get to go all the way this time, now without much risk of prying eyes.

There's a lot more sexual content planned for v0.16, including a threesome with Valerie and Rena, more sharing content, and a full sex scene with Mira. I haven't quite gotten to those scenes yet, but I'll have more to share regarding them in the next progress updates.

Speaking of Mira, you'll have the opportunity to go on a date and get up to some trouble with her. You'll also get introduced to a couple members of her gang, one of which you may have already encountered earlier in the game.

There will also be some story development in v0.16, this time focusing mainly on Alina. For the first time, the Duke of Rothagen (Alina's father) will make an appearance.

While Oruth and Avarenth were unambiguously evil, the Duke is designed to be a more complicated figure. You may (or may not) find yourself agreeing with some of his actions and motives, and you'll find that while he can be ruthless, he's also an experienced leader who cares for his family.

My plan is for two different routes later in Act 4 where players will get to pick the side that most appeals to them. The story has been relatively linear so far, but there will be more choices going forward that can change the direction of the story. For example, your choice to kill or spare Oruth in Act 2 will have an impact on certain developments in Act 4.
