Rebel Duet (Sep 7, 2023) (Patreon)

v0.4 of Rebel Duet will be releasing on the 11th (Mon) for Patrons, with the public release to follow on Thursday or Friday.

I've expanded the update with a few extra scenes, including a new ending (which also teases the villain for Act 2) and an extension of the 'Escape' choice in the Prologue. While choosing to escape from Valerie would previously lead immediately to a bad ending, there is now an extra choice following the escape where the protagonist can choose to return and reluctantly accept Valerie's requests. As the protagonist will be less trusting of Valerie in this version of events, there will be different dialogue early in the game to reflect this.

There's also been a significant amount of new music added to the game over the past few days, which should intensify the emotional moments and mood of the story.

While this update has more of a story-focus, the plan is for v0.5 to be more sex-heavy, as it introduces Act 2 and the new companion. With Act 2, the protagonist will have the option to branch out more and become sexually involved with other characters. Likewise, it will be possible to have Valerie become more promiscuous and fully embrace her succubus nature. By default, the relationship is fully monogamous and will stay that way unless you explicitly choose otherwise.
