im pretty sure the manga specified aizen designed this hollow go to back to hueco mundo for experimentation purposes... how he did this, i have no idea lmao but it's all according to his plan ofc

Arrancars are **any** hollow that gain Shinigami powers by breaking the barrier between the two existences, their real powers get sealed in a sword and in consequence, their mask breaks (hence the name "arrancar", to tear off) Also Gillians are not normal hollows. It will be explained properly later. Hollows don't go to Soul Society. Souls are Konso'd to Soul Society. If a soul turns into a Hollow, killing them with a Zanpakuto "purifies" the soul and the soul itself goes to SS, not the hollow.

Aaroniero is an arrancar since he can do a arrancar release (Devour, Glotoneria), he doesn't have humanoid features because he's a Gillian and his base power is also weak (The more powerful or higher class you are the more humanoid you will be once becoming an arrancar). As he says the only reason he's as strong as he is and was able to become an Espada over humanoid's like Dordoni is because he can evolve infinitely by devouring and stealing abilities. Metastacia loses the ability to destroy Zanpakuto's when he fuses with Kaien which is how he ends up being killed in the first place so Aaroniero can't use that

Just because an Arrancar looks human-like does not mean they are Vasto Lordes. That classification is set before they become Arrancar so the only Arrancar that are actual Vasto Lordes were humanoids before the Arrancar transformation. This means that Aizens Arrancar are made up of Gillian, Adjuchas, and Vasto Lordes BUT we don’t know the classification unless we see them before the transformation. Espada #9 is an Arrancar but his hollow classification is Gillian. The reason they look human like is because Aizen perfected the transformation process as well as them being strong to begin with.

Why did Aizen put Aaroniero somewhere wher there's "sunlight"? Because Aizen is the biggest troll, you guys. We know that lol Normally Hollows that get "killed" by a soulreaper get purified and go back to the soul society. This specific Hollow that fought Kaien was an experiment from Aizen (he mentioned that at the end of soul society arc), so he put some kind of mechanism in place that made it return to Hueco Mundo instead. That's where it got devoured by Aaroniero, which was not part of Aizens plan but he just went with it.
