J D. Legend

What a discussion!!!! Is this something like obito x rin x kakashi type shit?? Joyboy x lily x imu hmmmmmmm kidding

Cindy Baker

You’re joking but that’s probably what it is

This episode felt seamless, didn’t it? Toei for the first time in 20 years, adapted 1 chapter and a half. Even marineford, one piece’s critically acclaimed arc, didn’t get this treatment. This change was probably brought on by mounting pressure to deliver quality. Also while york was captured, the elders said that it was her who gave them the mother flame. The narrator at the beginning of egghead said that Lulusia was destroyed a week before egghead started, so vegapunk had plenty of time to arrive at his conclusion. York is just confused at vegapunk appearing oblivious when she captured him, while also knowing that she stole the mother flame in the recording. The vegapunk in the recording is talking with information that the current vegapunk would know, even though the VP in the recording is from the past. “The timeline doesn’t make sense”-York

Imu simp to Joyboy but Joyboy has Lily lels

I think the last 2-3 episodes adapted more than 1 chapter. That's because One Piece is going to be 26 episodes/year starting next year, so they probably are going to do this more often (and also because of quality and the remake on the way).

Cindy Baker

The previous episode only adapted 1.2. 1 chapter and 4 pages. This one did a lot more

In regards to the one piece islands all being connected in the past, it is very possible! The 5 Elders and Imu’s base of operations is called castle Pangaea, which is a reference to a theorised supercontinent millions of years ago that connected all the world continents of today.

Danilo Martinez

This is some info to add up to your theories, the lulusia thing happened a week before the straw hats arrived in egghead, and remember where luffy found stella the first time, he was phasing through the iron giant, most likely hiding the snail just before they found him

Dave Wu

There is a theory that the endgame of one piece IS to make the continent whole again, that is “ONE PIECE”. Or maybe Sanji’s dream the all blue might be connected to this too somehow.

This episode gave me goosebumps!
