Characters where doing alot of teleporting this episode because the writers needed to get them in certain positions for the final 2 seasons, in seasons past it would take characters like half the season to travel certain distances, like arya and the hound spent like a seaosn and a half traveling around the riverlands and the vale while jamie and a enitre army went from the riverlands to the capital in a single episode, and varys somehow was in dorne and then made it back across the sea to get on the boat in 1 episode

The writers of game of thrones tv show, got the job partly because they guessed jons parents correct, george rr martin asked them "who is jons parents" and they got the answer right, even tho it still hasnt been revealed in the books yet, Jon snow is literally "the song of ice and fire" part stark(ice) part targaryen (fire), There have been 5 targaryens since episode 1 of the series, Danaerys and her brother , Jon , Master Aemon (nights watch) and The 3 eyes raven (the guy training bran in the tree) I dont think they ever reveal this in the histories and lore videos but yes he was targaryen)

Btw Bran is not the only one who knows, the only people who knew about Jons true identity, was Howland reed (the guy who saved Ned in the fight in the past and is Meeras father), Wylla (who was the wet nurse who helped birth Jon and is the woman who is Neds cover story about who Jons mom is, remember back in season 1 when Robert asked Ned about Jons mom and Ned said her name was Wylla)

the first thing that came to mind when we found out Jon was targaryen was, "would his body have burned if they tried burning it when he died?". To this day i have no idea but i woulve loved to have known.

Also a major plot point in the books is that Robb, arguing with his mother, wroter a letter that (for now) never arrived or was revealed. Robb says he's naming Jon his legitimate heir regardless of what Cat thinks. We then see him with his trusted liege lords and says he thought long and hard about who should succeed him should he fail to produce an heir. Cat then thinks she's been defeated. We're given zero indication he changed his mind. We later see the lords of Flint and Norrey visit the wall, and Jon thinks that these grizzled lords had a deeper reason for visiting. So when the show made Jon the King in the North, it kinda validates in my ming that book Robb chose his brother Jon as heir, making him a Stark and legitimate

I think a mandatory and enjoyable watch is R+L=J by Alt shift x on youtube, he released the video before this episode came out and it talks about Jon being Rheagar and Lyannas son, its only about 6 mins

she’s literally the best i knew she’d get the reveal… ready for yall to watch house of the dragon now aegon the first is the conqueror predates all this by like 300 years the mad king is aerys in the show maester aemon says to jon “when i heard they killed my brothers son (aerys) and his poor son (rhagear) even the little children (the two martell royal children jon older siblings)” but the show shortened the lineage maester aemon is really the mad kings great uncle in the books rhagear is 24 when he dies he never met danny but viserys remembers his older brother danny and jon while aunt and nephew are around the same age they were both born in the aftermath of the sack of kings landing and jon was born sometime before or after the battle of the trident ned doesn’t tell cat because she’s not trustworthy look how she acted with one bit of information about the dagger it spun out of control and led to all this imagine if she knew that important information

What a wonderful journey to this episode. I forgot the hope I had after watching this episode because they sped up the episode soooo much just with reveal after reveal after game changing action after game changing action. Devi is highkey a genius no lie, the way she catches onto reveals is just bonkers. This is sadly the last episode Im watching of this show, seasons 7 and 8 are super disappointing given season 6 (for me). Edit: Devi's reactions when she realizes something is hilarious man Regarding Ned being honorable with Targaryens, it was actually revealed very early on in the show that he fought with Robert BECAUSE they killed Elia's two children and was visibly disgusted. He also put his foot down regarding the assassination attempts on Dany when he was hand. He ALWAYS was against the senseless hate Robert had for them.

Also i have seen a short clip of Tommen jumping out of the window way before i started to watch the series, but i only saw the jump itself, and to me it always looked like baelish instead of tommen. Glad i misread the spoilers

another hint was in the previous flashback with the kings guard waiting outside the tower… ned “why weren’t you there to protect your prince?” ser arthur “ our prince wanted us here” why else would king guards be standing guard there unless there was a royal inside (jon)

Season 7 and 8 are a spectacle! So many insane moments that I can't wait for the reactions :) Just like every show there are difference in opinions so don't pay attention to anything negative those are just people that didn't get it their way :)

That's the most raw reaction I've seen, untainted from all the spoilers and rumors that led up to this moment. The reaction most were denied by the book readers . Very satisfying to watch Devi react to this show. I just hope she doesn't read all the dumbasses that are trying to ruin the future reactions.
