I will create a chronology of the events here according to whats told. 1. Aizen keeps tabs on every person of interest, even the likes of Rukia and her past tie with Kaien. 2. He kept tabs on Isshin's son. 3. Replaced central 46 and stations Rukia to Karakura. 4. Sends hollows to the town. One even attacks Ichigo's family. Ichigo meets Rukia. 5. Rukia gives her power to Ichigo cuz he looks like Kaien. Aizen understood that but this was not part of the plan perhaps as he wanted to trigger Ichigo's own dormant power. 6. Rukia needed to hide after committing the crime. Got "luckily" approached by Urahara who offered her a Gigai that erased her soul presence from soul society. 7. Aizen noticed how Rukia "disappeared". He was also aware of Urahara's presence in the same town so he knew Urahara was involved in this. 8. Uryu uses hollow bait to challenge Ichigo. More hollows than expected showed up, including the giant menos. Uryu noticed how this wasn't supposed to happen. This incident triggered Ichigo's own dormant ability in him. 7. Aizen notices Rukia isn't gaining her power back so there is something fishy. Urahara is turning her human with his gigai. Why? Could he be hiding his hogyoku in her? (Urahara was oblivious of how much Aizen had his eyes on already. Thought he was being sneaky by hiding it inside Rukia but dead wrong.) 8. Aizen (as central 46) sends Squad 6 to retrieve Rukia. Due to her familiarity with Squad 6, she convinced Byakuya to not kill Ichigo. Byakuya was also confident he neutralized Ichigo's powers at least. But... that was only Rukia's power. 9. Ichigo was helped by Urahara to bring forth his own dormant power.

Naah Aizen taking credit for all the fight setups for Ichigo is something I can't defend. That stuff was random ever since Ichigo entered Soul Society and even in Hueco Mundo. Aizen wanted to let Ichigo know he wanted for him to grow but took it too far by saying "I made you fight each opponent when you were equal to them."
