Yamamoto didn't die, the hado he used, #96 Ittō Kasō used his arm as the sacrificial part not his life and after that Aizen was busy with Yoruichi, Urahahra and Ishin and pretty much forget about Yama-ji ^^

Vino

In the manga, he loses it immediately lmao. They only did it this way for the filler arc because the manga hadn't released the chapters (I think?). Edit: yammy is dead btw. I want to say more but can't. Some of the theorycrafting is making me laugh

There are 50 royal family’s 4 are born as spirits never been human Central 46 are of lesser royal family’s the 4 have there own court

Srikeshan Naidoo

I'm still mad that so many characters I would have been fine letting die, survive this arc but Gin didn't

Srikeshan Naidoo

Whatever negative comments you get about the Fullbring Arc, please do not skip it. It is canon

THE_KENPACHI

So what’s next bleach ep342?? Coz ep 311 to 341 are filler .. then onto tybw then bleach movies(4)

Volt

He did get stronger while fighting Tensa Zangetsu since they were fighting for 3 months, the final getsuga tensho is a technique that turns Ichigo into the "getsuga" and causes him to lose his powers. Other soul reapers wouldn't have it because they don't have the getsuga tensho ability in the first place, which is to put your spiritual pressure into a projectile attack. The final is like a kamikaze version of that where you put your powers themselves into the projectile. Also on the Aizen thing, it can be assumed that Aizen thought the Soul King would be his equal and when he saw whatever him and Urahara witnessed it led both of them to think of the Soul King as a "thing" and Aizen cannot be equals with a thing.

Volt

Hyped for the next arc, 342 only the ending is canon but after that we're fully into the next arc

Danny Gonzalez

Fullbring arc is cannon dont skip plz

GS

Just read the fullbring arc from manga and onto TBYW. Fullbring arc sucks ass.

Pandrix

Why are people saying skip Lost Agent (Fullbring) arc in the Big 2026? Are we serious right now? Next arc is one of my favorites

Mimi

Don't skp the fullbring (lost agent) arc, it's canon. It starts with episode 343. But you should watch the last ca. 5 min of 342 since that's canon as well. You will be confused in certain points later in TYBW if you skip it. People recomending you to skip it are just impatient. Also in the Manga he loses his power right after he faints, they only added that "second time fainting" because they added another filler arc, before they concluded the og series with the canon fullbring arc. Please don't skip fullbring.

secondubly

imagine skipping Fullbring arc and then starting TYBW and being absolutely confused when it starts cause it's like "huh? when did that happen?" 😭 absolute nonsense. Fullbring Arc is canon and actually good AND it has ramifications on TYBW so it's kind of important to watch.

Camska

Unfortunately, the Fullbring arc is canon

Gwopp

fullbring is very underrated its really needed

Ken Lang

Yes. Keep thinking that guys. Keep thinking that lol

Chris Hard

The TLA arc is vital to ichigos growth as a character. Please don’t listen to the ‘fans’ that say it’s filler or not worth watching. Growing up it wasn’t my favorite arc on first watch but being older now I have a much greater appreciation for it and it has one of my favorite moments in the entire series.

Santiago Velasquez

The FullBring Arc is a must! really underrated arc and its canon..react on it pls. Before the TYBW

Ken Lang

Few notes: Hado 96 Itto Kaso is a kido forbidden technique that uses one's own body as a sacrifice. However Yamamoto managed to just sacrifice his left arm and not his whole body. Yammy didn't survive. He succumbed to his injuries after the dog interaction. Watch that moment again as his eyes close and listen to the dog's tone as he whimpers and howls in sadness. You seemed surprised Aizen wasn't dead. As Kisuke stated in the last episode, he figured killing him would be impossible now that he's fused with the hogyoku so decided to SEAL him instead. As for Isshin using final gestugatensho...well...all I can say is remember when you made that assumption. It will be answered soon.

Pandrix

There is the fullbring arc right after 342

Set

I don't like the fullbring arc but it is canon and a must watch going into TYBW. Also only the last like 5 mins of episode 342 are canon. The anime has him lose his power in stages so they could make 30+ episodes of filler. In the manga its pretty much a mix of the end of this episode and the end of 342

대희 장

fullbring arc is essential. It's essential because it's a regular episode, not an external one. You can start with 342

Milon McGuffin

Idk why some people are saying to skip the lost agent/fullbring arc! It's a canon arc vital to the story and multiple character's growth. Some of the coolest fights, designs, music, etc. Not to mention my uncle is a guest star

Ken Lang

Our uncle has always been there for us! We can't skip this arc

Didar Salimgerey

I don’t understand this either; it seems that many people consider this arc to be filler or something

wileykat

It will hit harder and different the further you go along <3

TragicPlayer

It's not only noble families that can achieve bankai. They just have a higher percentage rate of achieving it.

Bleach doesn’t end this arc with happy victory, it ends it with absence. Gin is gone. Aizen is sealed. Ichigo loses his powers. The story removes the very pillars it spent years building because this arc was never meant to feel satisfying, like you guys were expecting, it was meant to feel empty which it did lol. That emptiness is the point. Aizen’s “heart” is finally exposed here, and it isn’t godhood or the Hogyoku, it’s Ichigo. Aizen didn’t just want to reach the top, he wanted someone who could stand there with him. An equal. Ichigo became the first person to truly understand him, and once that connection was made, Aizen lost the will to continue evolving. The Hogyoku stopped responding and the seal Urahara planted in him worked. His imprisonment by Central 46 is pure irony, the man who despised a stagnant system is now sealed into the same kind of immobility he hated. Rangiku’s scene is devastating in the quietest way. She thanks Gin for not leaving behind a keepsake because if he had, she would’ve been unable to move forward. Gin’s final act wasn’t betrayal or tragedy for us, it was his love expressed through restraint. Even the Espada echo this loss. They weren’t random villains, they were foils of Aizen himself, Starrk’s loneliness, Ulquiorra’s nihilism, Grimmjow’s destruction, Yammy’s rage etc all of them have a connection to Aizen but I won't list them all. When Aizen falls, they’re already gone. Ichigo losing his powers isn’t a punishment, it’s the cost of choosing growth through sacrifice. He accepted death and loss fully, while Aizen escaped it. That’s why Ichigo could move forward and Aizen couldn’t. So if this episode feels hollow, that’s because Bleach is asking you to sit with grief instead of rushing past it. This isn’t an ending. It’s the silence after something meaningful is gone, Bleach at its most somber and melancholic, unafraid to flirt with nihilism before asking what comes next. BTW you guys are some of the most invested reactors I've seen y'all are gonna love TYBW

wileykat

Enjoyed the week long Bleach reactions a lot thanks JDanime

The way I see Aizen’s relationship with Ichigo is like when you’ve been winning against your younger sibling your whole life, so you kinda wish to lose just because it would mean you finally can compete as equals. I think that once he survived final getsugatensho and Ichigo lost his powers, a small part of Aizen was like “damn so this is really it, not even you (whom I specifically groomed for this purpose) can stand on my level?”. He wavered for a second, the Hogyoku picked up on that and so Urahara’s seal finally started taking effect

Mimi

- I think you are supposed to feel a little sad, because even though Ichigo doesn't regret what he did, there is still a bit of a melancholy feeling around him. Everyone is a little frustrated and/or sad. While they technically won, it felt kind of empty because literally everyone got beaten so badly. And Gin and Tosen died. - I think Aizen felt lonely and was searching for someone he could be on even ground with (intellectually and strength) and thought the soul king would be that person. But then he SAW, and got mad (judging by the way he referred to the soul king as a THING) and then strived for becoming a god that stands above all. All while still kinda hoping someone could match him. That's why he was so interested in Urahara who was on a similar level intellectually and Ichigo who he suspectected had the potential to be on par strengthwise. - The Central 46 is comprised of forty wise men from all over the Soul Society and six judges. Don't really know much more. - Yammy IS dead. - It's not only the Nobles that can do Bankai, but the nobles do have a higher percentage rate to be able to achive bankai compared to the "regular" people.

Mimi

- About the visoreds, Ishin said it's a group of ex soulreaper outlaws that tried to gain hollow powers by using forbidden techniques. Not that there were many of them. Although he did call them "visoreds, the masked army" lol. Ishin only knows about the visoreds from the soul societys side and they were very wrong about that whole incident and what happened 100 years ago. Urahara obviously knows the truth about everything but there wasn't really much of a reason to tell Ishin since he has been living a normal life for 20 years as a human with no real prospects of ever becoming a soul reaper again. Although I feel like once Ichigo got involved there should have been more comunication between Urahara and Ishin, which i assume must have happened later at some point before they confronted Aizen in that last fight. - Also in that conversation between Urahara and Ishin, Urahara said to him that he wouldn't want to be blamed for Ishin losing his powers. Soo… Thank you for giving us the finale back to back. I love your Bleach reactions so much!! I'm so happy you like the show too!!

Xev

Spoken like someone who doesn't understand anything about Bleach lmao.

Timothy Ahn

When you guys talked about if Isshin used the final getsuga and that's why he lost his powers. Mannnnnn, i love your guys theories. Can't wait for your guys TYBW reactions, because it will all make sense.
