It's funny how this filler anime episode has become a "must-see" just to see Ichigo lose his powers. In the source material, after Ichigo collapses, he doesn't wake up at Rukia's house but at his, after a whole month of being asleep and sees Rukia disappear almost right after. Guys there's a manga chapter called 205.1 that takes place before the first episode, it's basically a prologue to the story but it was never adapted in the anime. It's crucial to Ichigo's character so I would highly recommend to give it a read, I feel like now it's the perfect time to do it. I really can't wait for y'all to react to the movies and I really hope you guys do, some of those are so sad as well. Also the animation for those is just fantastic. Yeah totally understand Devi, this part always made me feel sad and empty especially if you saw the ending song and visuals right after pure tears along with the ost playing. As someone else said y'all should check out the 205.1 manga chapter where we see some of ichigos development Also thanks so much for the constant uploads, and deliberately releasing more or on non upload days. Really excites the viewers and is just awesome.

Bleach is the blackness turned white, like hollows are white they’re bleached of their life so they eat to fill that life. Ichigo was colorful and now he’s bleached of all of his powers

its hard but it had to be this way mates, he had to sacrifice something to reach Aizen's level that quick, because if don't than everything Aizen did wouldn't mean anything, a human kid training for some months erasing the meaning of everything Aizen did for over a century? that would be garbage, so yes it must be this way in order to keep the achievements Aizen reached to have a meaning. Ichigo reaching Aizen's level and even surpassing it for moments was already a big deal.
