Back in ep 7, Tatsuki tells Orihime Ichigo fakes being in a good mood and fakes a smile when he's tense. This is during the time of the year, when he skips school to go to his mom's grave. This is another one of those times when Ichigo is down and fakes being cheerful and Yuzu sees right through it. She knows when Ichigo isn't being himself. It's ironic that normal Ichigo has a natural moody face and upset Ichigo has the fake smile and cheery face.

What I like about this arc is that its so down to earth, its like the problems they have are scarier to me cause they fell more real than a battle against a strong anime character, ofc there are some powers involved but the real life problems is what get me the most
