Ken Lang

No you guys miss the point of their resentment. You're thinking about it from a "useful" standpoint, but it's sentimental. Ginjo said they loathe their power, so it's not about how useful it is. This is tied to their parents being attacked by hollows. Devi you may say "Who cares" But if I had these hollow-associated powers in my soul as a constant reminder of the fact that it came from my parents being attacked and/or killed by hollows, I wouldn't want it to be a part of me either. I don't blame them for hating it.

Mimi

Remeber Chad in Hueco Mundo, he said ever since he came there, he noticed that his power was closer to a hollow than a soulreaper. Bleach mindgames don't dissapoint lol

The Black Promontory

Agreed! You’d always know you have a piece of your mom’s murderer inside you. I’d always feel “unclean” :(

Amphyprion

As always the theories are so much fun to listen to

Vino

They figured out that the guy with the book is a separate entity from ginjo. That's...good :)

Franina

Just because the power is useful doesn’t mean they need it. How often would you need to draw out a soul from an object and use it?

Hielo Kasama

Ichigo such a baby ;-; he's always surrounded by full on adults.

Rey

I love seeing the gears turning, but they do make a hella assumptions about what is going on.

JDanime

That makes sense! We just assumed the parents were fine but yeah it could be really traumatic experience considering the injuries and such

JDanime

True it's not really something a normal human would have to use but also why go through all the effort to get rid of an extra power that could be potentially used for defensive purposes? Considering the emotional aspects now, it makes sense :)

JDanime

we're overthinkers, can you tell 🤣
