Maybe this is the more dissapointing episode alongside the white walkers war... i mean all the story telling of all the 7 seasons before that is gone just in minutes. I will never forgive that to the writters,just horrible...

So my opinion The last seasons are not bad because of what happens, but because HOW it happens. Daenerys ending a tyrant is, to be honest, one of the most popular theory for book readers since pretty much the beginning. But in the show, the issue is that the show directors had infos from the author. But no books to use as support. So my guess is that Georges Martin told them : At the end, Daenerys will be a tyrant, she will lose all her support... etc. So, since they wanted to rush the last seasons (Yes it's a fact), they decided : ok Georges told us all we need to know, so lets wrap it up. My opinion is that book Daenerys will ALSO ends up a tyrant, but in a much more logical and slow fall from grace. Something well written and not rushed. Same could be told from Arya. Her whole arc was revenge and, meters away from Cersei, she changed her mind. Why ? Because martin probably told them "Arya will abandon revenge eventually". So, instead of writting Arya as someone who slowly re-understand the value of life, they use "Sandor use Arya if you do this you die" scene which makes NO FUCKING SENSE. Not here, not now, not this way. And if you really think about it, ALL the issues of the last season could be understood with the following statement : they used one line indications from Martin of what was going to happen and developped their own fanfictions out of it, in 6 episodes only because they did not wanted to spend time developping them

You guys are the only binge watchers ive seen get this angry which shows how much you genuiely liked the story and valued the character progression just to see a bunch of it thrown out the window, personally i never liked danerys anyway so i wasnt mad that she was made into a villain

I really started disliking danaerys from like seaosn 7 onward when she came to westeross and was mad that people werent immediately bowing down to her, im like "well in their minds theyve fought and bled to get rid of the lannisters, just for you to come over with 3 dragons and give them your ass to kiss" , she just sounded so insanely stuck up, so when i used to watch reactions of game of thrones i would hate how much people liked her because in my opinion she didnt sound that much different than cersei

If Ceresi could control dragons, she would have already burned down 6 out of 7 kingdoms. Even at the end Jamie had to appeal to Ceresi's egocentrism. "It's just the two of us". Ceresi was the worst. Aka the best.

Tyrions belief of danny never made sense to me, he barely knew her, he showed up and then a couple days later danny leaves on drogon and is captured and away for a while and then she gets back and shortly after they are coming to westeross, Tyrion wasnt there when she was liberating all those slaves, he wasnt there for most of the good shit danny did, and all of a sudden he thinks shes some unquestionable good leader

Oh no, I would be so easily manipulated 😭 when Daenerys went for the kiss with John, the thought of her manipulating John didn't even cross my mind. All I thought was: Damn she got nice lips.🥀💀

The thing thats most annoying is hbo wanted more seasons , but those assholes wanted to go off and do star wars and didnt want to hand off responsibilities so they rushed to the ending instead, i personally think george is taking so long with the books because hes re writing shit that they ruined forever, i think people will forever hate danny becoming a tyrant so hes rewriting it to where she loses for a different reason , the problems actually started much earlier when they started ignoring the books which made it less source material to pull from, I said in a old comment that seasons 5-8 could of just been the northern+vale plot in the books theres so much juice there but they resolved it in 2 seasons

Yeah I'll just say this is on the writers and why they lost star wars after this. This wasn't the way dany was going to go out in the books and not the end the that was built up they went wayyyy over board

it was based on what he had heard about her from varus, plus she was the rightful ruler by birth right prior to knowing of jon snow being the real king. we just didnt see any character development cuz the time passing got drastic around season 5 or 6
