Bitter sweet feeling🤧 hope u guys enjoyed a non anime show, Knight of the Seven Kingdoms or House of the Dragon next🤞‼️

redpgps345

it might be better to go a knight of the seven kingdoms before house of the dragon either one

Dominic

This episode felt alot like "now the script says this, so it has to happen that way somehow" - unfortunately. :( Many things didn't make a lot of sense.

Geno Montez

Oddly I kind of agree but I also don’t think it matters too much

Geno Montez

It felt so inconclusive because it feels like we’re back at the beginning of the show. The Targaryen has been overthrown, Jon makes his way back to the wall, the Starks split up, and on top of that everything was executed so poorly. What Devi said is what I’ve been saying for years. I didn’t necessarily dislike the outcome of everyone’s stories I just hated the execution of it all. Season 7 should get some of the blame as well for the ending being lackluster since it didn’t move the plot far enough to have a smooth ending in season 8. The war for the throne should’ve been done in season 7 well before the long night if we’re being honest. We all knew Cersei had no shot so I don’t understand why they left that as the final major event.

Geno Montez

LMAO! It’s so funny watching your discussion. You guys would bring up a problem, that led to another, and by the end of your 20 minute discussion you basically talked about almost every problem with the final seasons that people have been talking about for years. It’s nice to see everyone had the exact same reaction to the tragic ending of an all time great series.

Ken Street

Ending made no sense. Felt rushed. A lot of backlash by the fans.

Geno Montez

(Last comment I promise lol) A Q&A would be great

RatedRJoker

Crazy how this show ended perfectly with the ending of season 6 and we never got a season 7 and 8... right?

Sam Senillo

are they like watching house of the dragons? or knight of the seven kingdoms?

Tyrion said something like "That's what our queen wanted to do. Breaking the wheel. No more sons inheriting thrones even if they are a-holes. Now rulers will be voted on instead." What? Denaerys was top example of an offspring claiming her inheritance of the throne based on her heritage. She was not trying to break THAT kind of wheel/chain. She was gonna enforce it under the classic banner of righteousness. So Tyrion got away with that part? Guess no one knew of Dany's future plans and mental state. Night's Watch still existing is also a bull. Place is destroyed. You have to build it up first and then keep continuing the watch for nothing. Why? Bastards and criminals gonna need a place?? Wow. Aside from these two choices, rest are ok to me. Pacing too. Dany going cray-cray didn't have to be focused on slowly. Events were all lined up for her to get her there. Losing closest friends in wars. Being clingy to the throne. Forgoing mercy.

Trash Wizard

The show runners really just wanted to do what ever they thought was cool. Like the fuckin zombie polar bear or a dragon melting the throne because it understands its symbolism for some reason. They also wanted to avoid anyone predicting so they didnt use Jons origins and made Bran the king just to throw people off. They wanted to work on their new Star Wars project so bad that they shortened this season and gutted any good ending we couldve gotten. All for a new project cause they where bored of making GOT

agent29

Yall should react to GOT the musical on YouTube its funny

Dave Wu

Even the actors were openly expressing how they disagree with the ending if I recall correctly… smh

Dave Wu

Regardless of the ending, I felt that GOT was PERFECT for you guys since you already do a lot of theory crafting and detailed character discussions. So glad you chose this and I did enjoy your journey throughout the series!

JDanime

Yeah I can't imagine how the actors would've felt playing their characters in this way... Even as viewers it felt off, so the actors would've definitely felt something wrong within their core 😭

JDanime

Oooh we'll look into this!

JDanime

Ugh that feels so wrong... Why not commit until the end?! How can they get bored of their own creation that has set such a high expectation😭

JDanime

Yes! That is the exact feeling... Things happening just because it says it was going to happen that way. Which felt so different from the rest of the show when there was so much thought and strategy planning for every decision 😔

Dominic

Yeah it was, unfortunately, very noticable that they did not have the books as a reference anymore. So many things did not make sense. For example: Sending Jon to the Wall again. Bran could have just waited until the Unsullied left Westeros, so nobody would have cared anymore anyways about a punishment. Bran becoming king and saying "why do you think I came all this way", means he knew/saw the future. So he let everything happen like the whole city got destroyed and all citizen killed. - Nice king. :D To name just a few things which I find annoying.
