Slendercucumber

I think the blood in the intro signifies the bloodline of the targaryans which is also very much imbreed. But bloodshed is a good guess

GodUsopp

The way i saw it was viserys thinks corlys is getting too powerful, the man has more than half of the 7 kingdoms total naval fleets, hes the richest man in the kingdoms, one of the best commanders, married to a targaryen and has children with targaryen blood capable of being dragon riders and his wife is still upset about being passed over

GodUsopp

I can see the GOT spark back in your eyes, the plotting, the betrayal, You dont realize how stupid those last couple of GOT seasons were until you get to this and the knight of the seven kingdoms show

Green Gren

Otto's actual plan probably was to provoke a conflict but Rhaenyra's peaceful approach ruined the case...

Green Gren

Corlys uses Rhaenys' claim to the throne way more often than she herself... So I don't see where you got "upset" thing... Also there is no strategic approach behind his decision, just emotional...

Green Gren

their motto is fire and blood... Basically source of their power and greatness

redpgps345

game of thrones is awesome no doubt.. but for me all the stuff that happens before season 1 is so much more interesting.. keep going

GodUsopp

i disagree, he literally acknowledges in this episode that the sea snake sees himself as a near equal of the king, Also Rhaenys is 1000 percent still bitter she doesnt have to say it for it to be true, you can see it on her face

Green Gren

I never said sea snake doesn't have an ambition, he does have it and that is my point... NOT ENTIRELY SPOILER BUT BETTER DONT READ 1) It is an emotional decision by Viserys, not my opinion he will confirm it later by himself 2) Also the fact that Rhaenys gave up her ambition and it is Corlys who is chasing that "claim" is confirmed multiple times, especially in 2nd season when both literally acknowledge it in one dialogue... Idk seems you haven't paid attention or haven't seen it full...
