"the world doesn't revolve around you"

flowrence

the fact that EVERY EP has had this movie quality is insane to me

claws019

Welcome to peak!! Also there was alot of foreshadowing in original Bleach u guys wouldn't realize it til u watch tybw

Slendercucumber

My favourite arc that I waited over 10 Years to finally see animated! For me TYBW makes Bleach not only as a battle shounen but also as a story series complete! I am very excited to see your reaction to it after work!

Brandocommando

Be sure to watch the special ending credits for episode 7 too

n Ferrante

I think you Are mistaken , because you said they had ten years to come up with a new Story , thats Not true the Anime had a 10 year Break , but the Manga continued normally after the fullbring Arc

Milo Nex

There is a very short scene that you missed : Ebern is using a Hollow's Bait just like Uryu used way back at the start of the serie that's why there is so many hollow coming to Karakura. IIRC it just after this cour of Bleach that the Studio Pierrot's second studio had rename itself as "Pierrot Films" (Films is French for Movies) showing they wanted to do very high quality series taking the time they need.

Amphyprion

You guys missed the small detail at the start, the reason there were so many hollows is because Ebern used the Quincy Hollow Bait. The same that Ishida used when he had the duel with Ichigo

Ken Lang

Congrats on making it to Bleach TYBW! Excited to watch with you guys! Take your time to absorb and don't take any episode for granted. They put in so much work into making it look this great! There are tidbits of info in each episode as well as omitted manga details that were left out and we will be here to inform you guys if you missed anything. Ichigo's getsuga is now manga accurate, it's yellow instead of blue. Idk why they left this out, but in the manga Ichigo asked the guy " Are you here to avenge Aizen or something?". Ishida's skating animation isn't a new ability, it's just his "Hirenkyaku" ( Quincy high speed movement ability like flash step). It just wasn't animated this well in OG Bleach. The girl at the beginning, Shino Madarame, is related to Ikkaku Madarame. Yamamoto's lieutenant Sasakibe actually has no pupils in the manga. So in this episode he was drawn manga-accurate, it wasn't a visual effect of him dying. The name Wandenreich is german and you pronounce it " Won - den - Rike". Ebern using that hollow bait was such a subtle callback because it was only done one time in the early days of Bleach. Of course it's gonna be easy to miss lol

THE_KENPACHI

Bro what if they made all the manga into anime … I’d be happy🥲

Vampsbox

So excited you guys are finally here. Its amazing to see new beach fans get this hyped!

Pandrix

Nonononono I am so hyped for you guys and to watch this with you guys. TYBW is amazing, there's stuff to talk about every episode, most of the episodes are not rated below an 9/10 besides a couple 8/10's. TYBW is also one of the highest rated anime of all time, and is super consistent. Also yes production and quality is insane, pacing is way better as well no fillers or padding.

HYPE

RRK SAMA

oh my god!!! Lets goooo!!!!

GS

The amount of power creep that's about to be on display is ridiculous. Ridiculous in the best ways possible.

Brandocommando

Wandenreich is pronounced (VON-DEN-RIKE)

Kris

Love the reaction! One thing, just to give context, the manga for TYBW was releasing before the anime even concluded, so regarding Aizen, Kubo was already cooking that up. Was a shame the anime was cancelled, but i think we all agree that postponing was for the best. Y'all are in for a ride.

GodUsopp

The tybw is what happens when you give one of the big 3 modern animation and modern pacing

Femi A.

SO JEALOUS OF YOU GUYS!!! WE WAITED YEARS FOR THIS!!!!! WELCOME TO PEAAAAAAAK!

Gabriel Bennett

This is also the improved version cus the author added new scenes since the manga was rushed

Declan Palmer

words cannot express how hyped i am for this and the rest of tybw, i love your guys' reactions, the best ive seen of bleach.

Mimi

I'm sooo hyped!! Lol yeas Ichigo didn't need his bankai here, it was fanservice for the people who waited 10 years for it and I loved it. They didn't have 10 years to come up with a new plot to top Aizen. The Manga chapters that are animated in TYBW followed directly after the fullbring arc, there was no 10 year hiatus in the manga. They just stopped the anime after Fullbring (apparently because of ratings, i'm not sure), and then came back after 10 years to animate the rest of the manga back then.

Mimi

Just to give you a heads up, there are some after credit scenes in TYBW, some pretty important ones. And you don't have to worry about previews, there aren't any, just the poems that serve as a kind of preview, but they are not spoilery. I would really love it if you watched until the end to read the poems. Some of them were in the manga (each volume had a poem), and others Tite Kubo wrote extra for the anime. Oh and ep 7 has a special ending, please don't skip it, there are no spoilers.

Steinar Brandvik

The first scene shows Ebern using Hollow Bait, like Ishida did in early bleach when they had a battle to see who could kill the most hollows. Thats why there were so many hollows showing up. And also a good reason to give us who waited so long some fan service.

Michael H

This is absolutely going to be a wild ride! A few things to note are the color changes for various characters to be accurate to the manga. Orihime's irises are now brown instead of grey and her hair is a brownish color instead of a deep orange. Ichigo's aura and Getsuga Tensho are now gold instead of blue and his bankai's Getsuga Tensho is black & white instead of black & red. This was also the case in the original anime during Ichigo's final clash with Byakuya where he broke his blade. There are others, but you will see them when the time is right.

Zelecta

Please Watch the after credits scene and poems at the end of each chapter don't skip

Zelecta

It's gonna get better 1000 times crazier screaming every episode hahahahha can't wait to see you guys Flip hahahahahah

JDanime
