great reaction

Viserys is kind in heart so I think his relationship with Alicent won't change much since I also feel like he just fired Otto due to Rhaenyra pushing for it for the most part. Of course he has a brain of his own but he accepts things differently and has high tolerance as he expressed to Rhaenyra that everyone has self interest ... Daemon is a complex character which is displayed in his confusing actions. He could simply go all the way but he also considers maybe Rhaenyra maybe there was something else.... And Ser Criston Cole as you mentioned is young in comparison to other knights there. Rhaenyra is also full age but still young and younger than Cole. So a tricky situation. I do not like the double standard of Cole must uphold his honor and Rhaenyra need not but at the same time he should not have given in due to rational and moral reasons. Especially when he ad so much time to quit while they tried to open the 1000 layers of armor...

I mean if Im cole im letting it happen personally, rhaenyra isnt a child and shes attractive and a princess

dude im so glad you guys approached this from the fact that Criston Cole fucked up because you guys are right, he absolutely was within his rights to say no. Even if she threatens him and whatnot, he serves the king not her and they make this repeatedly clear later on in the series and even game of thrones. People who attempt to spin this as "rhaenyra took advantage of him" are absolutely insane to me even considering the power dynamic of a princess and a knight.

If it goes to such a conflicting situation, Cole will be within in a mercy and honesty of Rhaenyra... If he goes and tells that to the king, Rhaenyra might accuse him of initiating it. If you were a knight, who would you think king or court would've believe? You or princess?! So still she put him in front of a difficult choice, both options had their own risk... You are watching a show as a viewer where Rhaenyra portrayed as an honest (at least not to the point so she would lie and cost someone's life intentionally) person but Cole doesn't fully know her, he has no idea what she will do if she is angry or scared for her position/reputation...
