Can someone tell Jackie and Devi that they should also cover the next 5 secs after the opening because it gives a preview of the episode and it can spoil, especially the one in episode 5

Han

Hi, during tybw part 1, Tite Kubo would draw tribute art for fallen characters of the previous episodes so there's no spoilers. This is what he posted when episode 3 aired. Ebern and Luders (killed by Quincy King back in episode 2) https://x.com/tite_official/status/1584557827271671809

Amphyprion

As for why they were able to take it from the Chad and Orihime, Urahara stated in OG Bleach that his gates convert the physical body into a spiritual body when they travel to Soul Society and Hueco Mundo

I hate hollows I kill hollow, they eat my family so I must. And then look at any race that has been ever genocided, that generational hate grows. We saw it in Uryu, he himself is a prideful quincy.

I get the theory you’re trying to make about the soul reaper’s way of maintaining balance between the world may just be a theory and only works for the soul reapers. But it was literally proved in this episode that the way quince’s exterminate hallows is harmful to the balance of the worlds. That’s the whole thing Yamamoto and mayuri were arguing about. They stated that the quince’s exterminated a bunch of hallows in the world of the living so that the soul society would crash into the world of the living. Which is why Myuarui took it upon himself to use the souls of the rukon district to prevent the 2 world from collapsing into each other. Them going to the world of the living and exterminating those hallows to purposely make the two worlds collapse is proof that the quinces know that what they’re doing is bad/wrong.

Hielo Kasama

Uryu is also a very talented quincy, he’s mastered everything there is to know about being a Quincy when he left for soul society way back when. When wasn’t even an adult. These new quincys, the “evolved” ones are using new techniques that are easier, to use. (You’d rather teach someone to shoot a gun rather than train to use a bow)

The official English subs suck at spelling the German terminology of the Quincies. The correct spelling is Vollständig (which means „complete“), and ability Quilge used to absorb the Reishi from everyone is spelled Sklaverei („slavery“). It doesn’t help that the German in Bleach isn’t good. Sternritter means „star knight(s)“.

You guys have no idea how crazy this last arc is gonna become... this is just the beginning

a_u_i_o

they didn't really changed the colors (it's more the OG anime that changed the colors), but in TYBW they redo and made the color manga accurate it's like in naruto, the anime made the rasengan blue while it's yellow in the manga

Pandrix

TYBW discussions boutta go crazy lol.

Israel Torres

It was explained by Quilge that the Vollstandig and Letz Stille are indeed different not only in power but also that the latter was basically a single use thing and an old technique. He only brought up the comparison because both are ultimate techniques.

rryutie

tbh im glad narutos rasengan is blue and that shikamaru wasnt turned into a smoker in the anime.

GodUsopp

I always thought they turned the rasengan blue so it brings memories of the kamehamaha from dbz for fans of dbz watching naruto back then

Femi A.

You guys should watch or listen to the Haiku at the end. It gives you a little peek into the next episode

The Quincy Letz Stile was basically the Quincy's version of final getsuga tensho equivalent. It's a temporary power up followed by the loss of Quincy powers. It was used by Ishida back in soul society arc against Mayuri when he took off his sanrei glove. Some of the terms you see in this episode are German. Just like Hollows have a spanish theme to them, Fullbringers had kind of a british style to the way they dressed, and in this arc Quincy have a german theme. Just to be safe I would look away during the 10 second previews at the beginning of the episode after the opening. Ps. It is actually scary and impressive how perceptive Devi is with her theory crafting lol

Quilge Opie. The most Quincy of them all🫡
