Mana

I can’t really talk about Loki since pretty much everything about him is a spoiler, but I think it’s awesome that you guys managed to find his first mention again. It was a small but fun Easter egg.👍

Trusting Oda's silhouettes? Hahaha And besides, the god Nika is a god. And the Hito Hito no Mi, Model Nika, gives whoever eats it the powers of the sun god Nika. Joyboy ate the fruit but he wasn't the sun god Nika, just like with Luffy, he isn't the god Nika. It's as if Joyboy and Luffy were the apostles of Jesus. They performed miracles, but through the powers of God that manifested through them, but they themselves were not God.

I do think a lot of these hints towards the future are easter eggs for the fans who are caught up. And or possibly Oda wanting to get this lore in earlier cus he didn't have it fully thought out at that time in the manga. If you go back and watch epi 2 with Luffy singing/dancing to Laboon it seems quite familiar 👀 and they show Brook but they do not mention his name. They tried to make these reveals as spoiler free as possible especially with how fast some of them are like seeing sabo for a second and people who are not caught up would have no idea. Will we get a G5 in the OPLA? Who knows but I am all for whatever they want to do. And the Sun god was first mentioned in Skypeia in Nolands backstory where Moose mentions she will see the Sun god soon cus she was being sacrificed. Now is it the same sun god? I think so but I don't think Oda had the name thought of yet and same with how Dorry in the anime mentions Elbaphs god. It could be similar to how in real life where some gods are inspired by each other from who are from different regions like for example the lightning gods. Thor from Norse Mythology, Zeus from Greek and Jupiter from Roman etc.

pretty mucvh this ! its servers as a lovely set of easter eggs for those that konw, but it also works as crazy good foundation for new watchers, so when they either read the manga/anime you will be rewarded. This is the same as how OG viewers had their own set of reveals that they got to enjoy. Since the story is so far out, the writers can flesh out the early in a way that Oda would have approved.
