no the scorpions have been around for hundreds of years, its how the dornish where able to withstand folding to aegons conquest, qyburn is just a man of history and studied the weapons used against dragons

Cassandra

I think you guys are completely over looking the fact that right before the scene with Daemon and the killers ends, one of them asks Daemon “what if we can’t find him?” meaning Aemond and we never saw or heard the answer but we saw Daemon giving them a weird look insinuating the conversation continued maybe he told them “a son for a son” like if you can’t get to Aemond any son will suffice. PS the killers are recorded in history as Blood & Cheese, “Blood” is the big man a gold cloack of the City Watch and “Cheese” a ratcacher

Why do think Aegon would be a tyrant? Not all Targaryens are mad lol.

BP

The opening shows the entire history of the Targaryen's from the Doom of Valyria to now. And to be fair to Ser Criston...Alicent is fine AF! Aegon is fundamentally a spoiled rich kid, but in his defense he never wanted to be king, he never expected it either so he has no idea what he's doing.

JDanime

We judged him too soon based on his shitty behaviour but yeah it was too much of a stretch.. We recognize it in the upcoming episodes
